Eid will never be the same again. We revived the Sunnah in Luton by the will of Allah azza wa jall. Musallah, Women's area, childrens festival & Da'wah.
1 Eid Luton Description
Eid was never meant to be inside the Masajid as the beloved Messenger Muhammad sul Allahu alayhi wa sallam, took everyone away from the Masjid and pointed them to the Musallah in Baqi. There they prayed Eid in the open with men, women and children along with the rest of the community joining them for Eid and the days of Tashreeq. We call the Ummah to join us and support us as we have now revived the Sunnah and returned Eid to what it always was meant to be.
Along the way we faced many challenges, open and hidden (devilishly sneaky), as they were dropped upon the path as we sought the pleasure of our Lord but blessed are we that Allah secured our success against many odds and granted us His guidance against oppression and shaitaniyah, alhamdulillah.
We now are recruiting advisers, senior members in organising future Eid Festivals and many other areas in making this a well oiled machine organisation insha'Allah. We ask you all to pray for us but follow that up with a sincere action by donating or volunteering.
Da'wah to our neighbours has never been easier and more effective since the launch of 1Eid we are able to do Da'wah at another level alhamdulillah. The public can see the true essence of Islam through smiles and celebration as they engage in their dealings they realise so much more than the Islamaphobic messages the media injects through false propaganda. 1Eid has successfully united many areas in the UK from the split day of prayer but also brought very diverse and split communities together. The Sadqa jariyah is immense and ever growing subhan Allah. Join the caravan.

And for those of you celebrating today and those of you who didn’t get a chance to come yesterday, the 1Eid festival will be continuing today in Stockwood Park with live nasheed performances by Khaleel Muhammad starting at 3pm. We have a special artist displaying some amazing work at the festival as well as the massive fun fair we have put up and delicious food. Make sure you come for the bespoke cakes we have on sale too! See you there! 2pm till 9pm inshallah! All welcome.

1Eid Festival is back this Eid Al Adha at Stockwood park, starting with Eid prayer at 10am for men and women, followed by two days of full on festival, including fun fair, urban beach with all the works, children's entertainment, delicious BBQ and desserts, including Lola's cupcakes, nasheed performances by Khaleel Muhammad on Wednesday 22nd August from 3pm onwards and so much more.

Assalamu alaikum. Apparently there are some unhappy people with 1Eid, regarding the £1 entry fee for the festival. We would like to make you aware that this was entirely the fun fairs decision, to fence off the event and charge a fee due to the increased violence they have been experiencing at Wardown Park. We have always tried to keep the event free entry (and have for many years)but when we were informed that they had personally been attacked at the park by Muslim youth, we... had no choice but to agree. The fencing was for your security so that your families could enjoy Eid in a safe environment. Added Security was employed and they worked hard all day to keep out trouble makers. Furthermore, the fair prices are also the fun fairs usual rates and we have no control over that. But yes, the volunteers who work tirelessly for no pay to make Eid special they don’t get acknowledged, nor do they receive help. Please remember them and try to help them. What did 1Eid bring to the event? The urban beach built (including 10 tonnes of sand) on the park that took one week of all volunteers and their children’s physical labour to put together and take down (which was free for public to enjoy including deck chairs that we purchased), an entire fireworks event, again free, a nasheed concert with a number of performances, again free, a Marquee for women to pray Eid salah with dignity, free, and many hidden costs that we explained at the prayer such as marketing and Security. I hope this clarifies any concerns you may have. Extremely disheartening when a handful of people work tirelessly and sacrifice their own Eid to give the rest of the community a special Eid and then receive harsh words of complaint.

Call for help! Can you spare an hour today? We need to unload a van with all the 1Eid equipment from the festival back into the storage unit and only one brother to do it. We are all volunteers who have full time jobs and everyone has to go to work. If you love 1Eid, if you and your family enjoyed it, then please give up an hour and help the brother. Just for the record, whenever we put up this message NOONE responds to help. Be that difference please. We can’t do this without your help. Jazakallah khaire
Clearing up the beach. Why free sand? Because not enough volunteers and no body will help us store it. So when we give it away loads people come to bag it up. So we are giving it away. Please donate so we can do this again. Text us and pledge a something.

If i could give more stars i would such a beautiful event bringing all communities together. Enough respect to the organisers!
I love the project and have been a volunteer and a member of the team since the beginning may Allah accept it from every member as a sadaqa jariyah, ameen. I really wish more Luton volunteers joined us though. They benefit and love the event by the thousands but only a handful or less actually sacrifice and get involved. For Muslims that only means cultural and tribal attachments. May Allah guide us all.

For years now I have seen only a handful of volunteers delivering an amazing Eid Festival. I truly hope you people come out to help and volunteer in advance this year. I pray those who have pledged actually pay their donations in finally. Eid is still being paid for by Muslims outside of Luton. Every family should donate towards their own Eid festival.

I miss the times rides were free or very cheap. Prices go up because of the little support from Luton businesses also. I pray you all realise by not helping you are harming and letting the few who sacrifice for all of us down. Purely for the sake of Allah I pray you all come forth and join hands.
Lastly, the Mosques who allowed platforms to those who lied about 1Eid and the individuals who stole and stirred fitnah against the Sunnah revival, should also now encourage people to support 1Eid as a form of tawbah and retribution for the sake of Allah, lest they will face their deviation when they are raised on the day of judgement. We pray we all unite upon whats good and from the Kitaab wa Sunnah. Ameen. May Allah grant us all success by way of unity and the truth of Eid on ONE day and at the 1Eid Festival.
First time my family and I got a chance to visit the 1eid festival and we had a lovely time, thank you for your continous effort - inshAllah see you next year.

It's a great example of how it should be done. Lots of facilities for children and family to enjoy and have fun which is great too.
The problem was the loudspeaker was squeaking sometimes and the people speaking continued to be doing various tazkeer and wasn't consistent.
One person towards the end before Eid prayer started keeping it simple and short takbeer according to the script.
The Imam was fantastic who also spoke good English and gave very good sermon!
The weather was amazingly gorgeous!!
