Last month a team of nine from our Manchester office set off on a grueling 215-mile bike ride across the Trans Pennine Trail from England’s west to east coast in four days, raising an amazing £2,500 for one of our charities of the year, the Royal Manchester Children's Hospital Charity. We love to do our bit for charity and one thing that get's our people super excited is a silent auction, or in our case, the 1st CENTRAL Auction of Promises. Each year we pull together loads of great lots for our people to bid on with all the proceeds going to charity, after they've been match-funded by us. This year, in total, we managed to raise a staggering £15,000 for our four nominated charities: The Early Birth Association, Royal Manchester Children's Hospital Charity, Baby STEPPs (Support Through Early Parenthood & Pregnancies) Gibraltar and the Priaulx Premature Baby Foundation.

We may be in for another record-breakingly hot week but it's now being reported this winter could be the worst for British roads in years.
