The Krypton Factor's very own obstacle race is back! The ADRENALIN SHOCK - new routes, new obstacles!
This is a unique obstacle course race featuring the KRYPTON FACTOR assault course, as seen on TV & film, the most famous, and arguably, the hardest assault course in the UK.
A choice of 5km (min 37 obstacles) and 10km (min 52 obstacles). Off road routes that include marsh, bog, woodland, rough hilly ground interspersed with tracks and fields, and a arduous river run, and if t...hat was not enough, at the end you will encounter 800 metres of deep mud and water between 24 plus obstacles to negotiate en route to the finish.
The obstacles are evenly, tightly spread around the course. They are large and over half have more than one component to them, to climb, jump, wade, swing and crawl over and under. It will seem endless and you will need to dig deep and muster every bit of stamina to maintain your pace and position. The harder you push yourself, the more intense it will become and relief will only come when you cross the famous double Ks finish line of the Krypton factor.
This race is designed to minimise queuing at obstacles and run by ex-Parachute Regiment soldiers, who know the real meaning of 'tough'.

fantastic afternoon on the assault course and zip wire , great set up and instructors really professional and encouraging would definitely recommend and would like to try to beat our time on our next visit !

Well,where to start! Had the best day celebrating my 30th with 7 other ladies. A challenge it was, but with the moral, experience and support of the instructors. We came here on Saturday as part of my Hen weekend, it was absolutely fantastic, we did level 3 which included the zip wire, which certainly tested all of us to the limit to climb those trees, but what an achievement for us all! Will, Craig and Bobby were all fantastic your brutal encouragement is exactly what you need to get you round the course, especially with the weather conditons we had - freezing cold snow and ice to smash and run through! Certainly not for the faint hearted, but Jess's Hens smashed it! Highly recommended, Thank you so much!!

Tom and I spent the whole day there doing high rope adventures in the morning and the assault course in the afternoon. The set up and staff were excellent throughout. A great day out for adventurous families or groups.

This is a very professional set up from the word go. Will and his team are able to make outdoor development relevant and applicable to leadership in organisations and no matter how many curved balls the participants throw at the team, they are able to handle them. The feedback to the participants is excellent and makes a difference to the way they act as managers and leaders post programme. All the staff go out of their way to make people feel welcome and looked after. i recommend it highly.

My partner and her friends did this course and loved every moment of it from start to finish and I personally would like to thank the staff who went well out of their way to help me surprise my partner and ask her to marry me at the end of her course I can't thank you enough for making it a very special day for us both xx

Me and my boyfriend visited the site after a recommendation from a friend, it certainly didn't disappoint! The Marshalls are on the ball at all times and became well acquainted with some of the locals and the new players very quickly. The facilities are spot on and the games were very very fluid. Barely any confusion about the game modes and the respawn are very fair. The Marshalls are friendly and approachable, happy to chrono and big on health and safety- a major plus! The purgatory village is insane, it's really well designed and accomodates players well. Awesome man hunt game- changes it up a bit from the usual stuff. For £10 it's seriously worth a run up. My boyfriend is really impressed with the site and that he got to use his beloved mini gun! Will 100% come again.

Had the best day on Sunday, quad bike gaming and the assault course was such fun. Fantastic experience for everyone from start to finish. Well organised, friendly staff and great facilities. This was for a special occasion and it certainly delivered. We all left smiling and feeling invigorated. Big shout out to the instructor for putting up with our banter and really bringing energy to the day. Can't thank you enough for the support from initial enquiry through to completion of the day. Will definitely be back and recommending to others. Thank you!

Had my son's 15th birthday here and it was a fantastic day from start to end. Jackie and her team are very professional and ensured the lads had a great time. A real friendly feel to the place with some brilliant areas for the paintballing.

Had an absolutely amazing day today! The set up is brilliant, staff were fab and our Marshall was brilliant! Pinched a bit and we’ve got some nice bruises but it was well worth it! Thanks guys! We will definitely be back! �

Great day out with the lads for my 30th bday. Instructors were a good laugh and made sure it was well organised but still light hearted fun as well. Challenging enough for the group of lads who went but got the feeling that it could be tailored to suit the ability of any group. Would recommend to stag/hen dos, birthdays, work days out or virtually any group activity. Will be looking out for future events/races to get involved.

Fantastic team building day with the other engineers from British Steel. The instructors were excellent at explaining the tasks they wanted you to carry out and all the safety implications and how to help each other in the correct way. I would love to come back and have another go. Highly recommend.

Came to Adrenalin to do quad biking and the assault course for a hen party. The activities were so well organised and fun, we had a brilliant day. The team are fantastic, big thank you to Jackie who was extremely helpful and efficient from booking to contacting me with photos and videos after the event. Our instructor Craig was brilliant, so helpful and encouraging and he made sure we had a great time - thank you.

Would highly recommend, can't wait to come back!

Brought a group of 8 to celebrate our son's 13th birthday. In the run up to the day Jackie was incredibly helpful answering all my ridiculous questions with grace and without laughing at me! She also didn't bat an eyelid when I asked if I could bring Birthday Cake! The kids had a complete ball, Bobby was great with them - encouraging them both to save their paintballs and get each other! They particularly enjoyed 'Purgatory' and were sad when their time & their paintballs ran out! We've got some fabulous bruises but apparently they're worth it!

Booked for my mates stag do, was a fantastic day everyone enjoyed it and they never ran out of paintballs as much as we tried! Must mention craig(hope that's the correct name) he let us get on with the madness, very relaxed with safety in mind too. Thanks to all �

Arrived for a fun filled day to celebrate hubby's birthday. Made to feel very welcome by everyone. We did the quad gaming 1st with our instructor Henry who was very good and very nice we had a laugh......Then we did the assault course which was tough but fun with exceptional trainers to guide and support us and so we all survived with no injuries!! We had a fantastic time and at no point were we rushed during our activities which i thought was fabulous. Thankyou for an unforgettable day!!Will highly recommend you.

Amazing day for a stag do. My group of 10 travelled up from Leeds as Adrenalin seemed much better than most other paintballing venues and it certainly didn't disappoint. Very professional set up with great maps, good attention to detail and great scenarios/games to complete. The staff were top bar, I couldn't recommend this place enough. Will definitely come back as such great fun!!!

Absolutely fab day here! Myself and my husband did the krypton factor and joined a group of people we didn’t know. They had us working as a team and it was so much fun. Prepare to get extremely wet and muddy! Staff very friendly and professional
