Working with Ahead Tuition has been fantastic. The Transition School week really was a brilliant, well planned and executed week, for year 6 children ahead of starting their first term at Secondary School (and some lucky year 5s too!). Umar combined educational workshops with fun twists, such as 'Dragons Den'. These hugely enhanced children's confidence skills, team work, public speaking, listening and many more- I really cant rate the programme enough for preparing children with skills necessary to really succeed and enjoy their time in Secondary School- and all the while, having great fun.

Ahead Tuition has also offered Young Adults and University students with invaluable work experience too.

Superb Maths tuition and equally important in my opinion, 'confidence building'

My 9 year old was struggling with maths and was mentally defeated by a maths problem before he'd begun, but with Umar's help his confidence skyrocketed, and I recall he ascended 3 x math levels in one month !



I sincerely recommend his work (and thoroughly nice chap too :) )

Over the course of a week I had the pleasure of filming and photographing for Transition School with Umar and his team. I had a great time working in the relaxed and fun atmosphere they created for the kids, who were experiencing what it was like in a secondary school, some for the very first time.



The leaders all interacted well with the groups and everyone was having a great time! I've worked with Umar many times over the course of a good few years now and his classes have all been incredibly solid. It's great seeing the young ones get more confident as the days have progressed and really seeing them shine!

Our 10 year old is being tutored by Umar once a week and has been since Sept 16. Since then his confidence in his ability to apply himself in maths has increased enormously. He has risen 6 times tables levels in this time which has been astounding considering where he was when we started.

Once again I have really enjoyed working with Ahead Tuition over the summer. I have run cooking sessions at their multi activity camps for the last couple of years and during that time the camps have got better and better. The staff work really hard providing a range of fun activities and the children are obviously having a fab time. Transition school has also been a great success, providing the opportunity for 10 and 11 year olds to experience professionally led sessions in a secondary school environment whilst gaining confidence and making friends. Excited about the future for Ahead Tuition as they go from strength to strength!

My son has recently started the Maths/English group on a Monday evening..He absolutely loves it..Umar brings out the best in your child by making learning fun! My son has since become much more confident at school in his Maths..recently coming top in his Maths group! I would highly recommend this group. I've been to a couple of the Ahead Talks seminars. They are totally eye opening to say the least!



If you struggle with revision/exam techniques then you need to go to one of the talks. Some of the methods will definitely surprise you, my favourite being the cheat without cheating method.

I was preparing to sit my GRE exam for entrance into postgraduate education in America. Ahead tuition provided me with excellent support and material to remind me of my secondary school maths and also verbal reasoning. A great help- thank you Umar and the team!

I have worked with Ahead Tution and Umar on several occasions in collaboration with Challenge Tennis.

Always friendly and great to be around. He provides a great atmosphere for the kids to play in. With countless activities and such enthusiasm in every session, it's no surprise the classes are often full.
