Akfitness Description

For me personal training is all about making you feel, look and perform better then you can ever imagine possible. I have a real passion for training and it’s probably my most important trait as I believe in the ‘practice what you preach’ philosophy so being passionate about fitness really helps me drive my clients forward with their personal goals.

My focus is to motivate, inspire and encourage you along your personal fitness journey. You may want to achieve weight loss or recovery from injury or maybe you would like to gain some muscle or tone up. Whatever the reason I hope to help you reach these goals and surpass them. I believe in what I do and I will work in tangent with you to come out of the process happier, more confident, healthier and most importantly with the physique you want!

This year I had several clients complete mini goals and events like tough mudder, marathons, 10k and 5k runs. Everyone had different fitness needs and we got to achieve all our goals! Here's @gavinjay3000 when he completed his tough mudder event with his his friends. Gavin is overcame a shoulder issue to easily complete the obstacle course! (Gavs the one in the red). Right some Monday motivation for you to get you ready for the week! Remember its not to late to start your fitness journey no matter what your goal! Here is Grahams story and progression;
Following my holiday in May I decided it was time to join the gym – Weight 16st4 waist 38inc. After a few weeks of doing my own thing I decided to get some help with a personal trainer – Akeel.
I started of with 12 sessions over a 6 week period – Cardio / Weights / Weighted cardio.Akeel also... discussed supplements and diet which I still stick to religiously.This gave me the push I needed and helped me to work out on my own with different weight exercises. Within 8 weeks my weight dropped to 14st10 and 36inc waist. I continued on my own and the weight kept dropping. After a 5 week break I then done another 12 session / 6 week programme and from there my weight dropped to 14st2 and 34inc waist, the lowest I had been for over 10 years.
I now weigh 14st9 and the few extra pounds in weight, is muscle gain. I feel fitter and healthier than I ever have, I am now in my routine (min 4 times a week) and with out a doubt I recommend you see Akeel as I wouldn’t have seen these results without him.

After returning from my holiday in May 2015 I was so unhappy with my size. I had gained weight slo...wly over a couple of years and was doing no exercise. My confidence was at an all time low, and deciding to join the gym was a big step for me. I knew I wouldn’t be able to achieve what I wanted on my own, I have never found gyms particularly friendly environments and am easily intimidated by the equipment and seemingly fit people who all seem to know what they are doing. Previously I’d join a gym, go to a class, run on the treadmill then give up.
When I joined Simply Gym I decided to train with AK, initially I was petrified, I had zero self confidence not just in how I looked, but my abilities to do the workouts. However Akeel was very supportive and encouraging, he helped me devise a weight-loss plan that incorporated circuits, cardio and weights. Within only a few weeks the difference was amazing I was losing inches everywhere. I trained with AK at least twice a week, sometimes three times a week and have been doing so for 8 months now. I have lost 3 stone (19 kilos) in total, Akeel helped me with a diet plan and has changed the way I see food, I no longer fear carbs and fats as I know how to incorporate them into your diet in a healthy way.
The best thing Akeel has helped me with is my confidence, I now enjoy working out, and I know my way around the gym, how to work out on my own and get the best results. I am so happy with my continued results and improvements, I couldn’t recommend AK Fitness enough.
