We had a great day there today with family and friends and excellent prices. Hope this place stays open be horrible to let this place become a housing development

We drove from Bucks to spend the day here and was not disappointed one bit food was great the pools were lovely every one seemed happy and well done to the staff and life guards who suffered in the blistering heat to ensure everyone was safe and having a good time we are looking forward to our next visit

Took my Granddaughter today to the teaching pool she is 18 months old. My experience was excellent. The receptionist was very helpful, the change rooms clean and fresh with great facilities for toddlers that are Safe and clean. The lifeguards were Visual and very helpful. The pool was warm and the environment pleasant. When Getting out the pool we had a shower that was warm and clean in fact the whole of the changing rooms were extremely clean and the hairdryers actually work and big working lockers with nice bright lighting. We then had a nice drink and a cheeky chocolate bar before going home. I would highly recommend this facility. Great staff and clean. parking was easy and free Will definitely be going back. Thank you we had a great time .

Nice pools in general, changing rooms need a facelift, but it would be bad news for aldershot if it closed for good

User

User

Great cheap day out, can't believe I have never thought to go there, love this place.

Great afternoon after school at the Lido.Unfortunately were thrown out half an hour early due to a missing child.Obviously understandable but meant only about 1 hour & a half there....Needs to stay open later in the summer....& needs to stay open at least some of September as the weather is often still just as hot..........Also need to think of more to do with the grounds & lido....open air cinema,splaspad.....inflatables,heating,d iving courses, decent cafe....,shaded areas....more bins,....needs to be made more upmarket & heating would be good.....A great Lido & space but could be soo much better!

Fantastic place to take the kids on A hot day

User

Amazing pool, would be even better if it was open a little more.

User

the session is 'just swim' but ended up being 'dodge the kids messing about' nothing said to them by staff.

User

Nice

User

7 children in the pool trying to all play in one lane of the pool. Two lanes, big ones, laned off empty just in case anyone wants to swim! It’s the school holidays. Let the kids have space!

Well overcrowded on the 18/06/2017. While waiting in an hour long queue to get in, an employee kept coming out saying there was about 3500 people inside and they didn't expect a turnout like that. They introduced a 1-out/1-in policy at the door which caused a very long queue.

When we've finally made it in it was obnoxiously difficult to not get distracted by a large group of gypsies (aged anywhere between 10ish and 50ish) that was acting completely out of control and the lifeguards just couldn't handle them. Half of these gypsies didn't even bother bringing a swimming suit with them so they jumped straight into the pools fully clothed. I noticed the lifeguards were talking to these people and their gesticulation was definitely suggesting something about their outfits but it was just talk... When they made their way into the pool and started throwing a soccer ball around with so much aggression accompanying it with really bad curses and swearwords I just had enough of it and moved my stuff across the other side of the pool. Should have done that earlier... same as other people did.

Luckily for me I didn't need to use the bathrooms but you can just imagine what it was like with this amount of people and literally no-one taking care of the hygiene of the place...

Quite a surprise was waiting for a lot of people at the end of the play: a Rushmoor Borough Council PENALTY CHARGE NOTICE sticked to the windshields of cars that were SAFELY parked all over the area just after 3 on a Sunday afternoon... I have to admit I have not seen a single car blocking residential driveways or streets on my way in and out of there. Even though people have parked very sensibly under the circumstances yet still they get punished like if it was a busy Friday afternoon in central London.

Cherry on the cake for those who lasted to the end of my review; there is a website that claims:

"The site has a car park with 150 spaces. The type of facility is listed as Local Authority. Facilities owned by the Local Authority, to include District, Borough, County and Unitary Councils"

Perfect crime.

Now I just wonder how come Google has indexed absolutely nothing in regards to Aldershot Rushmoor Council Parking Penalty Charge Notice and/or any other search variation...

Rushmoor Council, the owner of the leisure center extra earnings by handing out PCNs (Parking Charge Notice) to their leisure centre customers whom they didn't account for at their own car park.

Utterly futile - Adult swim starts at 9PM but reception closes at 9PM so you can't get in. If only there were some sort of computer network we all had access to then they could make this information available in advance - perhaps one day!
