Alexandra Recreation Ground is situated on King Charles Road and Alexandra Drive, Surbiton. This is a large site of some 16. 5 acres backing onto the Millennium Green and adjacent to Tolworth Main Allotments.

The park contains a large playground complete with equipment suitable for children aged 3 to 14 years. The equipment is very popular and after school the playground gets very busy. There are also two items of equipment suitable for youngsters with disabilities.

There are four tennis courts open to the public, all up to play deck standard. These courts are leased to a qualified LTA coach who organises various tennis sessions for adults and children of all abilities. The courts have just been refurbished and now have a bright, attractive colour scheme. All courts are serviced by an automatic Pay and Display machine so please purchase a ticket to play. There is usually an attendant that periodically checks the courts.

Our two bowling greens are very popular, especially in the summer. There are several clubs that use the greens and there are tournaments held throughout the season, the Surrey competition being the bowls calendar highlight. New members are very welcome.

The site has two Basketball courts available on a first come first play basis; these are very popular with both youngsters and adults alike. Finally there is a croquet club adjacent to the site which is privately run but can also be used by the public.
