Quaife Engineering Differential upgrade on a 147 GTA that we have in our workshop today.
The owner uses the car for a lot of track days and hill climb events but has complained that the wheels spin up quite a lot and wanted something not only improve the car for race events but everyday driving too.

Two 147s and now a GT, all bought with known issues and taken to Autolusso Saturday surgery for evaluation and subsequent remedial work. The latest, with lumpy tick-over and acceleration, (the Engine management light came on the day after I bought it), difficult gear change, and various other niggles, all sorted within a week by Ned and his very helpful team who gave me a demonstration of the injector testing and reconditioning equipment used to turn my ailing JTS motor into an engine worthy of the Alfa Romeo name. This and new bushes on the gear linkage has turned my "old banger" into something close to a brand new car. Thanks one and all. I only live about six miles away but drove 30 miles home and enjoyed every minute. Cheers!

Top tip for the week. Don't drop a leisure battery on to your car battery terminals positive on negative unless you like seeing lots of smoke coming out of the electronics units (long story)



A huge huge thanks to Ned Kirkham at Autolusso for fixing so quickly and efficiently. A really complex and one off type job well done and reasonably priced.

The go to place to have your Alfa running the way it should. The boys know their stuff! I've experienced everything from egr delete/remap done on the 159 to buying a V6 GT knowing that if anything needs doing they're the go to place to do the job. You might even get a half decent coffee whilst you wait (if you ask for it)!

Okay, turned up a day late to pick up my 159 Sportwagon. Cam belt failure (a North London Alfa independent who sold me the car less than a year ago didn't give a f¥€£), a clutch problem identified by Auto Lusso and some mods I asked for (suspension and drop, wheel refurb all round plus spacers) were on the menu.



I was picked up at station, car looked awesome when I first saw it, nice guys who explained everything, eye watering bill but justified, great drive home and gosh it handles twice as good as it did before. Big grins.



So, Ned comes across as a grumpy sod but he obviously knows his Alfas, James and his front office team articulated everything perfectly and are very personable, and apart from the fact my steering wheel is about 15 degrees off true at centre, I will trust my Alfas to them in the future! Cheers Auto Lusso! 😃

Not the first time I have made the trip from Brighton and certainly will not be the last. Ned and the team look after you and your car �.

Just want to say a big thank you to the guys at Autolusso for sorting out the door handle on my GT so quickly yesterday after I snapped it at Silverstone over the weekend. Amazing service and really nice guys.

Great service my parts arrived in less than a week

Car is running much better since it's visit. Guys on front desk were friendly and helpful . Having travelled 70 miles the waiting room is good, with tv and WiFi . Morrison's is opposite so if you need to wait a cheap meal is easily available. Ned was really helpful in advising me regarding the condition of my recently purchased car and the dealers responsibility. Great service .

Big thanks to Ned and the team. Major kerbing on rear wheel and some incompetents sprayed it the wrong colour TWICE. Autolusso saved the day with a perfect used wheel for LESS than the refurb costs. For anything Alfa related talk to Autolusso FIRST.

Autolusso have looked after my GTA for 8 years, including building me a 3.8 V6. I am more than happy to drive halfway across the country to get my car serviced by them as I know they will always make it right!

Autolusso have looked after every car I've owned since 2008, and they've always done a superb job. After initially taking my car to my local garage and not getting very far I thought I ought to try an Alfa specialist; I don't make many, but this was one of my better decisions.



The team here are nice, honest and most importantly knowledgeable. Though I hope it doesn't happen too soon, I will gladly bring the car back here. Thank you for your help, she's running beautifully.

Would have given them five but was told the service would take an hour and a half to two hours, fours hours later car finally ready. Then was told £50 per hour invoice said 71. 50 so how come it was there four hours.
