With temperatures set to reach 32° today, it's crucial to keep cool and stay hydrated! So... 1. Keep a bottle of water on you and keep it topped up! 🚰 2. Make sure you have plenty of high factor sunscreen on, and don't forget to reapply! ☀️ 3. Wear loose cotton clothes in light colours 👕and pop a hat on too! 🧢 4. Feeling the heat? Run your wrists under cold water 👌... 5. Make the most of the shade, particularly in the midday sun 🕶️

We had our child's party there today and all kids loved it. The only thing I would say is that it was quite hectic getting them all ready and they went in late but they had to come out on time, so they had 40 minutes in instead of 50. The didn't like having to pay £3 for paying either as they were parents helping us too and we thought the fees are high enough. Great service at the desk and very friendly and helpful people and very safe too. So above all, a highly recommended place!

User

We had great fun on the new aqua park. Some of the challenges were quite physical and beach shoes do help you grip. 3 lifeguards were on duty on the park, helping with the rope swings and giving advice if you got stuck. Everyone wears a buoyancy jacket and there are helmets for kids. There's a small paddling area for under 8s, and a nice veranda and cafe to watch from.

User

Took our under 15's at Calcot Royals here today for there end of season presentation.

The lads loved the Aqua Park.

They had food ready for them for when they got out and the staff were very accommodating by allowing us our own area on the balcony over looking the lake to hold our presentation.

Thanks to the staff. Great fun.

User

Popped over with ‘brother’ Gareth yesterday (Sunday) and WOW! what a change to what it used to be. Went down four an hour, stayed for four/five. Great way to spend an afternoon, full throttle on the pond! Great facilities, great guys working there. Going back very soon!!

User

Oh what fun we had. Laughed from start to finish and my aching body feels like it’s had a major work out. Thoroughly recommend this place to take your kids to or to just go with mates. Great fun

User

My husband and son have just completed the Aqua Park Course and absolutely loved it!!!! We will definitely be coming back and recommending Lagoona to our friends! Well organised and plenty of fun! Thanks Lagoona

User

Lagoona Aqua Park is a great day out, great for the kids but even better for adults. Such a good laugh it was buzzing!! the staff are really approachable and on hand to help you out. Not too deep either which made it even better as one of the adults couldn't swim very well. Can not recommend enough. Top day out.

User

I consider myself a connoisseur of water based inflatable hobbies, having visited more than 1 in my life. This was by far the best, having a wide selection of challenges. The orange and white colour scheme particularly helped my visually impaired friend. Would recommend this to any groups of friends travelling on the M4.

User

Had a brilliant time this afternoon with a mix of year 3-7 children and some adults. It's helpful if you have water shoes so bring some if you have them - otherwise you can buy there for £6. All the staff were very helpful and kind. Thank you - we will be back soon!

User

Fantastic morning down there for Father’s Day. The staff are friendly and very help full. Thank you

User

Fabulous place, staff are so kind & friendly. Can’t recommend this place enough for a family few hours of fun.

User

Been a few times during the summer and really enjoyed it. Today however, Lagoona excelled at organising my daughter's birthday party. It always looks like chaos but trust me the staff are on the ball and deal with everyone politely, professionally and safely. The new clubhouse is outstanding and the food they provide was ready on time and very good quality. It's the little things that make the difference, the table was decorated and little packets of sweets were left out for every child. Very impressed and want to say a huge thank you to Richard and the team.

We popped down last Tuesday with the kids, they had a brilliant time, lots of families down there, enjoying picnics and drinks from the bar and spending quality time together in the fresh air - so we thought we would return today with the kids and some friends. Really really saddened to find that suddenly (within 5 days) that the car park is now £3 and you can't bring in your own food. That means that for an hour at the water park it is now more expensive to park in your car park than it is in the Oracle centre car park. £3 an hour is just greed.

The result of this was that I then refused to spend money on food and drink which, as a result, lost you around £40 - £50 as there were a few of us. Instead we called at the pub on the way home. As we are also local and would probably have visited a few more times you will also loose the returning trade. What a shame. All for the sake of a couple of quid!

User

Took 4 kids and they loved it to be fair -even in the rain! Staff were pleasant and friendly and my only issues were the £3 parking fee (I read an earlier explanation for this but this must have been anticipated/planned as part of start up costs), £60 to hire a jet ski (probably why 4 were unused for an hour) and the restaurant was manic and it wasn't that full, staff just overwhelmed I guess. I gave up after an 8 minute wait to order a coffee. We will be back though and I would recommend to friends -wish I still had my jetski now!

User

My kids had a really fantastic time but shocked at how greedy the owner has got by now charging £3 for the parking. Out of principle I would rather drive to Liquid Leisure now, which is a shame as it's fairly close to us. What they'll now find is that people will do that or just park on the road for free - I would never pay to park, especially with how much you spend on food/drink when you are there. Such a shame and defo lost stars because of this

User

Definitely more tame than the one at Liquid Leisure in Dachet, water was too shallow so you can't jump in without hitting the floor and the condition of the water is pretty gross with lots of 'pond weed'. The aqua park itself it OK, lots of challenges and some different bits I've not seen before. I wouldn't go back as it was more aimed at kids and I'd prefer others in the area with deeper and cleaner water!

User

A good bit of fun to be had, but then a load of inflatables on a lake is always gonna be fun.

Shame the management and staff (mainly kids) are rude, poorly trained and clearly skirting around a lot of health and safety issues. Took 5 minutes to run around trying to find a buoyancy aid so they could go and help an injured lady, lucky it wasn’t a drowning child! Teenage staff were more interested in playing about than doing their job.

User

The park itself is great fun but seriously, sort out the damn showers. Dozens of people all getting off the park at once, yet only two showers, only one of which actually works, and even then it barely produces a trickle of water (no exaggeration, it was drops at a time) people gave up and had to queue for the equally poor sinks to wash the dirty lake water off just their faces. I'm also not convinced we got our full 50 minutes on the park before being told to get off.

User

We had a really poor experience as a family here recently. The people running the place seem young, and like they are "having a go" at a new venture rather than experienced in running a business. They were unsure on the safety aspects and how to handle customers when things go wrong. It looks great from a distance but we won't be going back due to rude staff (at all levels), lack of communication when there was an issue and lack of refund provided. There are other places to complete the obstacle course now that are safer and friendlier for around the same cost.
