Artifice is a company of experienced, professional theatre practitioners. We work with plays from the Restoration and eighteenth century - little known, but highly accessible, funny, relevant pieces. We look to work in heritage spaces, to enhance visitor experiences, to reach new audiences, to lend something unique and special to event planning. No sets, no lights, minimum disruption to your venue. When the theatrical heritage meets the built heritage like this, plays make perfect sense in the space, the space makes more sense as it contains the plays, and audiences have a great time.
