Words can't describe the level of service we got from astares. My wife and I saw Jez at a wedding fair late last year and arranged an initial appointment to look at what suits he had. Jez and Ruth showed us a fantastic selection and helped us choose a stylish combination. We picked up the suits 1 week before the wedding and had the drama that nobody wants, a waistcoat and trousers didn't fit an usher! Within 5 minutes of calling the shop Ruth had sourced the next size up on the trousers but couldn't get a bigger waistcoat. She had a quick chat with Jez and arranged to have the waistcoat sent to be altered (even though it was hire wear!) We dropped it to the shop Tuesday afternoon and were called Thursday to say it had been altered. When it was tried on it fitted the usher perfectly. I cannot praise astares highly enough for the level of service they provided enough. 5 stars doesn't seem high enough for how much they ran around to make sure our suits were perfect. If I need anymore suits I shall be going back there and recommending the shop to my friends for there wedding suits.

We would thoroughly recommend Astares. Unlike many places, they were great at being flexible and working around our busy schedule - they specially opened up in the evening for us and gave us a really personal service. The suits they have to hire, and the passion and enthusiasm Jez shows are both amazing. The fact that we live an hour and a half away from Astares and still chose them is testament to how great their service and suits were.

We would like to thank Astares for most wonderful service. Astares are a great team of highly professional staff, polite and attentive to the customer needs and wishes. A special "Thank you" goes to Ruth who was incredibly helpful.

Great clothes, great options, great service and everything can be tailored to fit at very reasonable price.

We received fantastic service today from Jamie at a suit fitting. He made the guys being fitted feel comfortable and at ease and was extremely knowledgeable when measuring and checking the fit of the suits. All our party came away extremely impressed with what was a very enjoyable experience.

We have also at previous appointments received great service and advice from Jez.

We received Excellent Service from Jez, Ruth and all the team at Astares. The whole team really get to know you and listen to your ideas about what will make your special occasion that little bit extra special.

I used Astares for my wedding, and the team at the store really did go the extra mile to make sure that all the men looked their best (in my opinion, we almost looked better than the bride). Jez and Ruth really know the current fashions and really make it their goal to make sure you will look stunning. Together they offer fantastic service that you don't seem to find on the high street anymore.

I would like to take this opportunity to Thank you all for your hard work and we would thoroughly recommend you to people that are looking for formal wear.

We got married in December and Jez was brilliant from the first meeting and also Ruth . He was good at listening to what we wanted and made excellent suggestions. He made the whole process very easy, despite having to move into the new shop at the same time.



The suits were really nice and comfy as well as real smart and good quality . everything about using Astares was just easy and made getting a suits for our wedding simple and none complicated.

We came across this company as we were walking past their new shop in Havant when they were doing it up before opening. I then met them at Southend Barns wedding fayre and we have had an amazing appointment with Jez today. He was full of advice, was honest but gave opinions without forcing them upon us. Offered us a choice of shoe we had not even thought about which we loved! We walked away feeling really happy with the choices we made today and there was a quote in my emails before we even got home -amazing! Such great people and I would highly recommend them! Excellent!

This place is amazing. My husband and I visited Jez after meeting him at a wedding fayre. The service he and Ruth provided was just great from start to finish. We were worried about hiring suits, thinking they would be old and not so fashionable, however on our first visit to Astares we were soon proven wrong. They have everyone from traditional to modern with lots in between. All of the guys at our wedding looked great in there suits, and all fitted perfectly. Nothing was too much to ask, sending swatches back and fourth ensuring they matched our colour scheme and arrange evening fittings around our work schedules. If you want to look the part for your special occasion, head on down to see Jez and Ruth. Right from the initial free consultation to view and select your suits, the service is excellent. The groomsmen were booked in about 10 weeks before our wedding to be measured up and the suits were ready to be collected just under 2 weeks before our wedding. A few changeover items were required and these were ordered and ready to be collected within 48 hours to make sure everyone was perfect for the big day. A great personal and friendly service by Jez and Ruth. I won't hesitate to recommend Astares to anyone. Pay them a visit, you won't be disappointed. Keep up the good work!
