Situated off the coast of Auckland, Waiheke Island is a wonderful contrast to the hustle and bustle of the city. New Zealand specialist Emma took a tour sampling the wine and olive oils produced on the island. ‘In addition to the wine, there are some lovely walks and viewpoints’.

Craig from our Southeast Asia team attended Bom Om Touk (the Cambodian water festival) recently.
‘Giong Lon is a small village in Vietnam’s Mekong Delta, there was a few hundred people present at the festival and I was the only tourist.’

Becky from our Southeast Asia team was delighted to meet chef Ann at Tanjong Jara Resort in Malaysia recently. ‘In addition to her restaurant Di Atlas Sungai, Ann runs this cooking experience, she creates improvised dishes based on her guest’s preferences. We had a lot of fun making Malaysian coconut curry and sweet and spicy prawns.’

Have you visited Southeast Asia, if so, which areas did you like the most?

We were very impressed by our holiday to Japan, organised by Rory at Audley Travel. From our conversations he put together an itinerary which worked like clockwork and gave us a sample of different Japanese areas from a tiny village to a large city and places in between. We seemed to spend just the right amount of time in each, in a sensible order. The comprehensive travel guide we were supplied with was invaluable. Compared to my normal method of arranging holidays it seemed very lazy and indulgent, but we will certainly be using Audley again for other long-haul holidays. That way I think we will make best use of our time away and it makes the overall holiday good value.

We have just returned from a 2 week trip to Vietnam.

It all started when I contacted 2 company's and asked them for some advice, I told them what I had looked at already. The first company quoted me for what I had spoken about whereas Audley Travel (Laura) quoted me for what I wanted, bearing in mind I didn't know what I wanted at the time. We researched what was included and it was indeed everything we wanted. We were met at the airport by a driver and guide, all arrangements had been taken care of all we had to do was turn up. All the arranged trips were well chosen and the whole 2 weeks went without any problems. Thank you Laura!!

My wife and I booked a trip through Audley Travel to Ecuador. Neither of us spoke Spanish and we were unsure of contacts and resources. Audley Travel made our trip memorable. We were given a grand tour to include flight and hotel reservations as well as driver and guide for most of our stay. It went off with very little trouble. We recommend that anyone traveling to a country that they are not sure or have no resources in to use a travel agent and Audley makes custom tours to fit needs and desires. My daughter and I had the time of our lives on safari in Tanzania. Audley planned the trip to perfection. From the time we landed in Arusha, we were well cared for and every detail was handled. We visited Lake Manyara, Tarangire, Nngorongoro crater, and stayed on the great Serengeti!! I can’t wait to go back!!

Just wanted to say how pleased we are that we chose Audley to organise our California family road trip. Having never done anything like it before the knowledge and experience they had was very reassuring. The holiday was fantastic and ran very smoothly, all the hotels were excellent and our handy planner gave us loads of information and suggestions for places to visit. I will certainly recommend you to friends and hope to travel with you again in the future.

Just back from India (actually back in Delhi for one night, before the flight home). Just had a wonderful 14 day journey - Delhi, Agra, Jaipur, Jodhpur and Udaipur.



Rowena did all the planning, so we just had to turned up at LHR. We wanted to see India, a 5 star hotel could be anywhere in the world, so we stayed at Haveli, Homestay and two marvellous 17th century forts. The highlight (without doubt) was Chanoud Garh, which had 10 rooms and was like being at a good house party, hosted by the family who hd owned the fort for 13 generations. If you visit northern India, this should be a must.



We had the same marvellous driver for the whole time, who could not have been better.



We couldn't organise this ourselves, we wouldn't have know where to start.

If you're looking for a cheaper option...this isn't it!

But, my month touring the west coast of the USA was beautifully individually designed with my interests at the heart of the whole trip

Individual, helpful information, great hotels....advice on everything from restaurants to museums to specific roads

All this is great.....but additionally audleys personalised service meant when there was a problem.....they sorted it out immediately......were always quick to respond and couldn't of been more helpful.

I would use them again in a heart beat....

I want to thank Matthew McLean, the resident Thailand expert, for assisting me with planning our group trip. Matthew responded to all my calls and emails promptly making my job as a travel agent super easy.



Thailand was fantastic and we had a great time. Our tour guides Noc and Pat were excellent. They were knowledgeable, and everyone loved them. The accommodations lived up to their 5-star rating. Each hotel had something special about it; from the 5-star buffet breakfast at Chatrium Hotel Riverside Bangkok; thank you to the head chef Spencer Kells, the beautiful architecture of Aruntara Riverside Boutique Hotel in Chiang Mai, and the remarkable resort life at the Twin Palms Phuket.



All in all, we had an incredible time and will use the services of Audley Travel again.

I think we have travelled about 9-11 times with Audley and they never fail to go above and beyond. I am writing this review for Andrew Riley who was booking a trip to the Galapagos

for us. He was very patient and followed through with every request. Detailing two separate itineraries. We had a list of wants and dislikes and basically altered the whole trip and had several sailing options. He was very good and deserves a huge pat on the back for all the work that he did. Ultimately the trip was decided against because of current health problems but the next time we decide to go somewhere ... we are calling Andrew!

First time I have used this company , also first time for a long haul holiday to Hawaii but it was a special 75th birthday present for my Mom. I can not fault the service I have been given, before during and after our holiday. Everything went to plan with the exception of a star gazing trip which was postponed due to the weather and that was totally out of everyone's control. From my experience I would definitely use them again

Booked earlier this year to go East Australia for our honeymoon. Audley travel and particularly our guy Simon have been amazing. We have a once of a lifetime trip booked that we wouldn't have been able to do alone or with as little stress! Roll on October! Highly recommend and will be using again!!

Audley arranged our honeymoon to Borneo and Malaysia and we were very impressed with the exceptional service, itinerary they put together and the knowledge and expertise of the staff. We are just arranging a trip to Napa and Hawaii with Audley now and have had a similarly great experience so far. Highly recommended!

A huge thank you to Catherine for organising such a fantastic trip to Ecuador (arranged round our son’s wedding). Ecuador is a truly beautiful and extraordinary country.

We booked our Holliday to California with Audley to take the stress out of planning as we are flying into San Fran and then driving down the coast to LA. We are booked onto Virgin flight flying into San Fran and returning from LA. We then remembered you can book your plane seats so far in advance but by the time we remembered and us getting the flight details from Audley most of the seats were booked. So flying out myself and my husband are sitting together and our 2 daughters are sitting a few rows from us. We weren't very happy but Audley gave us some universal tickets to compensate for their error. Yesterday we received our tickets as we are going in 5 weeks. On reading through we have noticed that returning from LA we are now been booked on a different flight and it's now a Delta flight. Nobody from Audley has told us the flight has been changed and we have had no explanation to this. We are now leaving 2 hours earlier than the original flight. We have booked our seats on a Virgin plane but we don't know wether these are the seats we had booked with Virgin. We have heard bad reviews with Delta and if we had known this we would've booked BA instead but we like Virgin. We decided to book with Audley and pay more so we would have them book all the hotels and flights etc for us but I think I will be booking DIY next time and paying less for it. To say we are very disappointed with Audley will be an understatement, the wallet and all the information is great and we love the luggage tags and all the information and map about Califiornia is great but what has let them down is the lack of communication with regards to our flights.

Very disappointed with the service when we were looking to book a fly drive to South Africa.



Arista, the SA specialist, was quite hard sell, e.g. "prices have gone up more than 10% but we'll swallow the extra if it's more than 10% and if you book now (we looking at Feb 18!) I can guarantee the accommodation which is very popular" but put together a good itinerary. We were quoted a very high price £16,000 for 2 weeks with business class flights. We looked at the component costs and concluded that the average cost of the accommodation was £675 per night which was extortionate or Audley were charging a huge premium.



When we questioned the price the 10% increase was again mentioned and an increase of £1000 for the flight costs which Audley could see but weren't published to the general public. These statements have been proven to be untrue and I have no trust in Audley and the several £000 charges they added were ridiculous.



So my advice is check Audley's price!



I won't use them again
