Baby Sensory Medway

About Baby Sensory Medway

Award winning Baby Development Classes throughout Medway.

Baby Sensory Medway Description

Baby Sensory classes provide hundreds of sensory development activities that are great fun for parents and babies to share in the vital first year.
Baby Sensory is the only Baby Development programme with classes specifically designed for babies from birth.
Baby Sensory classes provide hundreds of simple activities that are fun for babies from birth to 13 months. Our baby classes include baby activities ranging from signing to fibre optic light shows, amazing light balls, bubbles and bells; there is always something different. Many of these activities are set to our own Baby Sensory music which is available on CD. What is really exciting about Baby Sensory is that it is an parent and baby group where many of the sensory materials and baby activities are unique to the programme.
Each class includes seven different activities each week and a discovery play time, during which baby can enjoy our sensory play area whilst parents have the opportunity to meet.

Our office hours are
Tuesday and Wednesday - 1: 30pm to 3: 00 pm and 8: 00pm to 9: 00pm
Thursday and Friday - 1: 30pm to 3: 00pm

Q = "What if my baby falls asleep during class?"
A= Some parents worry about baby falling asleep during the class. With many babies attending from 2, 3 or 4 weeks old this naturally happens as babies this age do sleep a lot when they are so tiny. However do not panic or worry that they are not learning from the activities, they are still learning passively by hearing all the different types of music we play which helps us to communicate thoughts, ideas and emotions in ways t...hat no other stimulus can.
Sleep offers a whole range of other benefits too, from pain and stress management to improved motor and rhythmic coordination. It also contributes unequivocally to the positive development of the human brain. All important for babies to keep and restore balance.
They can also feel all the different textures we offer each week which stimulates new brain cell connections whilst asleep, so are still gaining lots from the sessions, while you are learning developmental information for the coming months and tips for sensory play at home.
Coming along to the sessions can be important for your health too. Talking about the ups and downs of having a new baby and hearing tips and coping mechanisms from peers is great for building new friendships.
Quite often we hear from parents that Baby Sensory is the highlight of their week and gives them something to look forward to and focus on 💚

Did you know....
At Baby Sensory, each session is different. We’ve structured the routine to follow the natural rest-play-rest cycle of babies to provide predictably, comfort and security. The routine avoids over or under stimulation and is useful because you know what to expect each week.
Of course if Baby needs to feed half-way through or sleep, that’s fine too!

We take Our baby Grandson every Wednesday morning and he loves it. It's Brilliant for babies. Rebecca who runs the groups is great and the babies love her. The babies come first and nothing is too much trouble for her. I would highly recommend it. In fact she is so good that my daughter takes our grandson to another one of her groups as well.

User

We started when P was 8 weeks old and she is now 8 months old. We have attended a few other baby groups and this one by far is her favourite!

All the babies love Rebecca. Her enthusiasm and love for what she does is shown in every class, and the waiting list. Every term is different, so we have been going back to back each term and will do until we graduate.

It helps P integrate with other babies, as she is 1st born, play and share with other babies too whist having fun. Would highly recommend this baby group.

User

We started baby sensory when baby was 3 weeks old. It was amazing watching how his reaction changed each week. It's by far the best thing we have done with him. We have just signed up to our third term for this Autumn! Rebecca is lovely and so good at what she does. Highly recommend!

User

We started baby sensory when Parker was 5 months old and stayed all the way through until he was 13 months. We both loved it (we went to the borstal sessions) Rebecca and Sarah are very good and really friendly and I loved taking some of the ideas home with me to replicate. The sessions are very relaxed and the fact that they are baby lead with no sense of judgement made me feel really welcome. Thanks for everything.

User

We started Baby Sensory at Borstal when Abigail was 3 months old. We finished our final class at Hempstead Valley yesterday. Rebecca and Emma were absolutely brilliant. Very friendly and really good with the babies. I would highly recommend this class to anyone thinking of things to do. Since starting these classes, Abigail has learnt so much. Thank you to everyone at the Baby Sensory Medway team.

User

We have just got to the end of our second Baby Sensory course with Rebecca and we have loved every single session! It is without doubt the best class we have attended anywhere - we have tried lots of different groups and classes but Baby Sensory is the most engaging delightful class we have found. Rebecca is the baby whisperer - she is such a hit with all the babies and a lovely warm down to earth Mummy to chat to who has made both my daughter and myself so welcome from the first taster session we went to. We "graduate" today to go up to Toddler Sense and we will miss Rebecca lots but excited to go into the big girls class for lots of exciting new sensory adventures! Thank you so much, Dee & baby Annabelle xx

User
