💖I get asked quite a lot about the right age to join our classes.....
Baby Sensory is designed for babies from birth to 13 months. I understand some parents worry about their baby falling asleep during the sessions, and to be honest from babies who attend from 2/3 weeks old they most definitely do, but babies do sleep a lot when they are so tiny.
However you wouldn't believe how much they are still learning and taking in from our sessions. They will be learning passively from... hearing all of the types of music we play and sing, which helps us to communicate thoughts, ideas and emotions. It can also help improve their motor and rhythmic coordination. They can also feel all of the different textures we use in class, which stimulates new brain cell connections, and all of this contributes to the positive development of the human brain. We also like to give you ideas on activities you can enjoy with your baby at home. Plus our classes are just as important to us as adults and our health. Talking to others about the ups and downs of having a baby and getting useful tips from one another can be so useful and start to build lovely friendships.
Its definitely worth coming to see what we are all about. Free taster session available :) Have a look at our website: Https://www.babysensory.co.uk/Wantage/

What can I say about Baby Sensory?! It's brilliant! So much fun for babies and mummies. Each week has a different theme, my favourites so far being the Halloween Pumpkin Ball and the Festival of lights…. but it is hard to choose. It is a very stimulating class with lots of lights, colours, textures and music to excite your baby. It really is the highlight of our week and Beccy is a ray of sunshine every Monday morning who creates a very warm and relaxed atmosphere. I will take a lot of special memories away from our time at baby sensory and am so glad I went for our first taster session back in August last year x

User

We've been going to the Marlborough class for about 4 weeks now and I absolutely love it! It's a fun hour for baby and gives them just the right amount of stimulation. I don't think it's a coincidence that he sleeps very well on a Tuesday night now! The class also gives you great ideas to keep baby entertained at home, which I've found a massive help. :-)

User

We joined baby sensory when Olivia was seven weeks old, she is now nine months and we had our final class on Friday. I would like to say a big thank you to Beccy for making it such an enjoyable experience. I have seen my baby girl grow each week and learn lots of new skills. We have had lots of fun and created an even stronger bond. We will miss it very much and I really recommend it to all mums ♥

User

We have been attending Baby Sensory in Carterton for 9 months and chose to have Emily run our daughter's 1st Birthday recently. The sessions each Monday are always great, we both look forward to it and the party was excellent. Great service and efficiency on the day and we liked how we could choose the activities. We received many positive comments from guests. Definitley worth the money for a great, but low maintenance party for parents as all is done by Emily.

User

Today was our last day at Baby sensory and we are so sad to be leaving. We have loved every minute of it and would recommend to everyone! Emily is fantastic!

User

Today was Clara’s last session of baby sensory and we have both loved every minute. I’ve taken both my 5 year old and Clara to baby sensory and they have both thrived so much for going. Emily, and Beccy before her, are both amazing and full of energy. Every session is exciting. The children have loved them so much. Would and have recommended baby sensory to my friends and family. Emily also came to our home to do a baby sensory party for Clara and it was such a massive hit with everyone, and Clara loved it. Will miss baby sensory.

User

Monday mornings are such fun thanks to baby sensory and the wonderful Beccy! My daughter Martha is nearly 11 months and has been going for about the last 6 months. Every session is different, the only constant is the amount of effort and enthusiasm Beccy puts in to her work. Martha and I love it and will be so sad when she is too old...toddler sense next perhaps?! I would, and have recommended it to all my mummy friends!

User

LOVE LOVE LOVE Emily's Baby Sensory sessions, it's Masons favourite group of the week by far. He started at around 2 months and have been going every week since.

Something new and exciting every week and definitely worth the price. He always sleeps well after sensory group from how much has been going on and how much he's taking in. We're going to be so sad when he can't continue :(

100% reccomend x

User

I take my son to baby sensory in Carterton and it is brilliant. Emily is amazing. She really interacts with all the babies - which Freddie loves. Each week has different theme so there will be lights, smells, noises and things to touch (or shove in your mouth in my sons case ) that fit around that theme. Freddie has so much fun and really stays intrested for the whole class. I have found that some other baby classes are the same every week and although babies do like some repetition it soon gets boring. I'm even excited to find out what is in store for the next week.

Also all the toys, mats and props are super clean.

Can't wait for Monday

User

I started Baby Sensory with my son when he was 8 weeks old and I'm so glad I did! The sessions are wonderful and different from anything I've done with him since. He learnt so much from his time at Baby Sensory and so did I. Beccy is a wonderful session leader and made me feel very comfortable when I didn't know anyone else there. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone with little ones!!

We've only just recently had to stop this sessions after going to them for over 2 years and it was a very sad moment. I will definitely be back as soon as another one comes along!!

User

I have taken my now 5 yr old to baby & toddler sense & am now taking my 2yr old to Toddler sense in the Wantage area. So I feel like an old-timer but it's never repetitive and we have all loved every session. At baby sense with my first baby I learnt so much about helping her senses develop and now at toddlersense I see my 2yr old flourishing. She adores Beccy & knows every Wednesday that we go to our class & sing 'how do you do'. I always recommend Baby & Toddler Sense classes to new mums as they offer so much. Bonding, teaching, fun and friendship.

User

I have been taking my little boy to baby sensory in carterton since he was about 6 weeks old and he simply just loves it the themes each week are great and even the adults have great fun too! Lots of sensory experiences for little ones and Emily who runs it is great, super friendly and relaxed with all the babies and adults! We will be continuing to go for as long as possible and always recommended it to others xx

User

From the very first class we realised how different was baby sensory from any other baby class. Really brilliant, top quality and so much fun for babies and mums! We have been attending the classes in Fernham, Vicky is so full of enthusiasm, she really know how to capture babies (and mums) attention. Alberto find her so fascinating! The venue in fernham is also great, so bright and warm, all the babies always feel very comfortable. Can't wait to the next class!

User

For a couple of years, toddler sense sessions in Wantage were the highlight of the week for my daughter Hazel and me. Sadly she has now outgrown them, but we miss them, and most of all Beccy's boundless enthusiasm and smiling face. Hazel developed so much and had fantastic fun every week. Her balance and coordination skills benefitted hugely from all the wonderful play equipment. I would recommend these activity sessions to any parent in search of something wonderful to do with their toddler. I just wish I'd found out about them at the baby sensory stage!

User

Excellent sessions for babies.. we have made some fab friends too..

User

Emily made my baby girls 1st birthday incredibly special. It was a great way to make the party about the babies and occupy them. Emily was incredibly flexible with how the session run and just made party perfect.

User

Ben has been going to Sensory for a few months and absolutely loves it, especially when Emily brings out the puppets, lights and bubbles. Each week it's a different theme and you can see the development of your child throughout the weeks, how they engage, learn and grow. Emily is enthusiastic, fun and very entertaining, she puts 100% into every class and Ben is besotted with her (especially during the"say hello to the sun song"!)

User

Beccy's classes never fail to impress us all! I look forward to my classes every week with Eliza. It's always great fun 4 us both and really educational. I go home with lots of new songs, signs, play ideas and baby development knowledge. We have taken great inspiration from our classes and made lots of toys too. I even managed to convince my (very anti baby classes) husband to come along and he was sooooo impressed he told all his friends and family about it. Baby sensory has been a huge part of my fun journey into motherhood. Thank U!

User

Baby sensory is such a fun and educational way to spend time with your baby. Both myself and my little boy thoroughly enjoy it. We have joined many groups and classes but I can honestly say that baby sensory is the best one and the one we both get the most from. Beccy obviously genuinely cares about the babies and their development and is a fantastic and knowledgable class leader. Highly recommended!
