Kalle is really coming out of his shell the longer he is with us and we adore his super chilled and fun personality!
This gorgeous boy may be a little older but still deserves a home of his own with a family who love him and will care for him.

Lovely Zeus went home today and we had great fun with his handover!
We did some door work, long line work and some play with his favourite ball in the garden.
He is such a fun loving dog and we are starting to unlock that playful silly side a bit more now! His owners are super happy and excited and we are super happy with how far he has come.

Today Bella went home after her weeks stay with us and she is doing great!
We worked on some front door etiquette as well as her obsessive barking in the garden and reactivity towards other dogs barking in their gardens nearby.
She has come a long way and is learning how to interact with other dogs in a friendly way and also to walk past dogs without reacting on walks.
... We still have some work to do but her and her owner are doing great and we are very pleased with where she is!

Sweet girl Kira came to stay for a night and we are super impressed with how well her and her owners are doing!
She is starting to relax around new people and socialising really well with dogs too!

Update on Bella:
Bella is doing great with her training and walks great with the pack everyday now!
She is now learning how to socialise with dogs and how to interact with strange dogs who she hasn’t met before.

We're going on holiday!
The Balanced Energy Team are going for a holiday which means that between the 14th - 22nd September we will not be around!

Today we welcome little Bella who is starting off her residential training to get her used to being around dogs and not reacting.
She is a sweet little girly with a big personality and we are looking forward to seeing her transformation.

Today’s session with Jess and her brother Ollie doing some work on loose lead walking and then walking into the town and getting a drink at a coffee shop.
They both did great and have come a long way!

Lovely girl Jess came to stay with us after her and her owner had seen multiple trainers with no success.
Her high levels of reactivity around people and dogs meant her owner was terrified to walk her, didn’t trust her in the house and was at wits end having exhausted every other training method.
Jess came to stay with us for 3 weeks to work on her trust around people and dogs and to help her to relax when people are around her.
... She and her owner are doing great and we are so proud of how far they have come! She is a lovely dog and now other people get to see that too!

Meet Kalle!
Kalle is a lovely 9 year old Romanian rescue looking for his forever home. He came to us after his owner was no longer able to look after him and after some training time with us we now want to find this happy chap a loving home.
... Kalle is a very calm, chilled out boy who likes his own space as well as lots of cuddles and time with people. He would suit a home with another, calm dog to get along with and go for walks with and would need a calm home environment to help him feel relaxed.
Kalle is currently on a raw food diet with some basic supplements to help his arthritic legs and minor heart murmur.

It looks like Ecollars are going to be made illegal, but please don’t panic if this ban goes ahead. Nathan and the team are working out plans to help each and everyone to maintain a balanced and happy state of mind in your dogs.
We will be in contacting you over the coming days if you use an Ecollar as a result of our training to help and assist you in the future.

Update on Zeus:
Zeus is doing awesome in a nut shell. Over the last 4 days Nathan has been working on his trust and respect which is the heart of a relationship, Zeus’s reactivity is decreasing and his pack drive increasing greatly.
When Zeus first came it took him no time at all to show his reactive behaviour. He lunged at cats and anything fluffy, pulled on the lead and growled at Nathan every time he got touched as well as any person who came near him.
... We are working on his basic training to give him the fundamentals to then guide him through the rest of his training.

Today we met up with lovely Lola and her owner and had went on a lovely walk around the busy Henley river together.
They are doing amazingly well and we are so pleased to see how far they have come!

We were introduced to Nathan by the charity, "Happy Paws", who we had rehomed our retriever, Trent through. Trent had travelled from Turkey as he had been found living wild in a forest in Istanbul and was finding adjusting to life with us difficult. We found Trent very reactive to other dogs and he had a very high prey drive. Nathan very quickly assessed him when he visited our home and to our relief he told us we had an anxious and not aggressive dog. Nathan's advise and guidance has been transformational in Trent's behaviour and now he is a real pleasure to walk around other dogs. He has educated us to be able to establish boundaries and routines which Trent loves. His pack walks also have helped to build Trent's confidence around other dogs. I would recommend Nathan to you without any reservation as his professional yet personal service really does get fantastic results.

We have been working with Nathan to help with our dog who is aggressive towards bigger dogs. I used to be afraid to walk him incase he kicked off, but after working with Nathan we are both much calmer. I would thoroughly recommend.

We have been working with Nathan for a year with our "lively" young Dobermann male Max. Max's behaviour has improved massively and our understanding of his issues has also. Nathan's balance of guidance and patience has been, and we are sure will continue to be, - invaluable. We would highly recommend Nathan to anyone seeking dog help.

Sam went to Nathan mid-December for a weeks residential training, followed by 6 one to ones that have just finished.

Sam went to Nathan an anxious reactive dog who was anxious around dogs, bikes, the dark and just life in general!

With Nathan’s guidance he is now a much happier and more relaxed dog and whilst we are still learning, (me, more than Sam), the improvements that have happened in such a short space of time are incredible and I can now enjoy walking Sam by the river, at Virginia Water etc. without worrying about whether he’ll be kicking off at other dogs and it’s a much less stressful experience for us both.

Sam and I will be continuing to attend the group walks and look forward to increasing our confidence on walks.

Nathan is a very talented young man with a very special gift relating to dogs. I have no doubt his new venture will be a huge success.

Nathan has massively helped with both of my dogs behaviour, especially my dog reactive Collie x Spaniel Joey. We were told by two dog trainers that he would never be able to comfortably be around other dogs however Nathan's calm and positive training has proved them wrong and he now comfortably goes on regular pack walks and is learning to trust other dogs! Nathan has been a huge help and has helped me to feel more comfortable and confident whilst walking and training my dogs. Would highly reccomend to anyone!

I'm really enjoying working with Nathan to restore balance to our pack. In the few sessions we've had, we've gone from two highly-excitable, lead-reactive dogs to calm, relaxed dogs who are focused and enjoy their walks which means that I can now walk them alone, which was previously a very scary experience!

I have known Nathan for a while now and I have never met a more dedicated and gifted young man. Nathan goes above and beyond to achieve the very best results possible for each and every client. He cares about each dog he works with and is committed to creating the best relationship possible between owner and dog.
