Bare Essentials

Peppermint oil, or Terrashield blend are great for preventing ticks and other bugs.... but please do NOT use them to remove ticks, neat or otherwise.

Husband and I just sat down to choose some oils to put in his new essential oil man-case ;-) He chose Helichrysum and Melaleuca for cuts and scrapes (furniture-maker), Passion for getting into his creative flow, Peppermint and Elevation to support the afternoon energy slump (and peppermint for breath freshening) and Forgive, Citrus Bliss, and Balance... well they all do what it says on the 'tin'! I love that my whole family get as much pleasure out of using these oils as I do :-)

Such a great idea to make use of the MANY jars that I save up! I do love a good jar, but love fresh herbs even more - combining the best of two passions :-)

Two of my favourite oils are on special offer today: buy On Guard and get a free Lavender! I bought two :-) For thsoe of you who don't know - On Guard is doTerra's Protective blend: it's great for sore throats and nipping colds or viruses in the bud... but used in the diffuser it can kill air born pathogens in five minutes. It's being used in hospitals (in the UK and the US) as a disinfectant as it kills various types of anti-biotic resistant bacteria on contact, including MR...SA - and is completely pure and natural.
