Barrow Hill Vets

Would like to say a big thank you to vet Sarah and all the veterinary Nurse's who have looked after our jack russell Cider over the past few days. After being bitten by an adder on sunday.

We are so great full you saw her so quickly and the care she has received has been top quality.

Shes back home wanting play fight and in too all her toys all ready.

We will definitely will be using you again.

We have always had Barrow Hill as they are very good with our cats Suki and Lucky, also our black lab Jet who need a lot of care.Also Merlin who got good care from all the staff at the time

Their communication while they have your pet in their care is excellent. I went to my local branch in Hythe this morning and was referred up to Ashford Hospital and they were ready for me when I arrived. Feel very happy and confident that Sherlock is in the best place having the best care! Thank you

The fantastic team at barrow hill saved my daughter’s little dog,Toby,yesterday. He had ruptured something in his abdomen and was bleeding internally,he was almost gone when we got him to the surgery. The wonderful Sally Ayliffe and huge,wonderful team somehow brought him back! The care and treatment my boys have received at Ashford over the years has been amazing and I was shown so much compassion when I had to say goodbye to two of my boys 4 months apart. All the staff are caring and understanding. I'd like to say an extra special thank you to Sarah Foster who feels as much of a friend to me as she is a vet to my fur-babies.

Thank you to an incredible team for looking after Chester over the last 8 days. The care for him and support for us has been amazing. We both think you are all wonderful. Chester has settled at home this evening and Ruby is very happy to have him at home. With love from Claire & Mark Wright.

Nothing is ever too much trouble. They make you feel like your animal is special, no matter how busy they are. The VIP Plan is real value for money & peace of mind, but animals not able to be included are also given excellent care. Thankyou everyone!

Mark and the team at Barrow Hill have been amazing. I can't thank Mark enough for fixing my darling dog Bramble after she damaged her hind leg. She still goes in to see him with a waggy tail. She is on the road to recovery and I have my dog back. Thank you. Highly recommended

Just to say a special thank you to Alex the vet for all you have done for Alfie the schnauzer, he looked so peaceful Wednesday, thank you to all the receptionist, who knew Alfie very well, also to all the other staff that treat our animals like family, cannot thank you enough.

It was my first time being here with my GSD after changing vets. and we had the pleasure of seeing Emma who was so lovely and very good with my dog and I feel that my dog was very well looked after as he has a long list of health problems. Very happy to be here and would recommend barrow hill veterinary hospital x

I will never be able to thank the nurses and vets enough, particularly Sarah, they looked after my lovely boy Floyd through his cancer and they were so kind and understanding with me. We unfortunately lost him, but I will never forget how lovely they were, we miss him everyday but are eternally grateful to the staff for their kindness. Brilliant people.

I switched to barrow hill vets from another veterinary surgery that I felt was more interested in my wallet than my pet. On the first visit they confirmed my cat had an issue I had repeatedly told his previous vets about (the previous vets denied it repeatedly in favour of expensive tooth extraction). Barrow hill also diagnosed him with renal failure and got him in for fluids overnight and eating again. They managed to prolong his life for another year that I would not have had with him otherwise. He lived 18 years in total. Truly wonderful vets, animal orientated and very accommodating too. The first time I was there i thought my cat was a gonna - I was in floods of tears in the consultation room and they kept me in there while doing his blood tests rather than put me back out in the waiting room. I've dealt with three vets here - Sarah, Tom & Victoria. All three were excellent.

I live an hour away but had heard excellent things about Barrow Hill for their laparoscopic spays. Im a vet myself so knew what to expect but they went over and above the service expected and my dog was cared for amazingly . She is spending tonight scavenging for crumbs on the kitchen floor and dropping her ball at my feet, acting as if she hasn't had anything done. Very happy. Thank you x

I had recently moved to Barrow Hill vets after having a rubbish experience with another local vet. I can't stress enough how welcome we were made to feel. My Weimaraner can be a bit of a handful towards vets and we had a lovely female vet who made him feel at ease at all times ! After being left in tears after our first and only visit from the previous vets we sighed with relief when our dog came out with a waggy tail. He was spoilt and adored by the vet and receptionists ! would defo recommend !!

Amazing veterinary hospital- they have provided outstanding care to my fur baby after he fractured his pelvis in three places- kept me up to date and let me visit him as well.. would highly recommend.

Amazing here, lovely and friendly staff, Marley is registered here and all our little pups have just been jabbed and microchipped with these guys and the staff were great! Think I just need to register our moo here then we will be all in one place which I will be doing very soon! �
