We’ve been trying to reduce the amount of single use plastic we use, and have replaced our plastic straws, cutlery and takeaway boxes. However we are left with these mushroom trays we get from the greengrocer. They can’t be reused for their original purpose (risk of infection or contamination) but make great storage trays. We’ve used as many as we can in Beaches, but have spares if anyone can find a use for them. We get about 5 or 6 a week, so if you could use one (or more) stop by to pick one up. #reducereuserecycle #ditchtheplastics

We are now open six days a week, Wednesday to Monday 09.00 to 16.00.

Visited today, had an iced coffee which was great and sometimes really hard to find a ‘drinkable one!’ Also had a falafel flatbread which was equally lovely. Thank you and good luck for the busy season!!

Took a stroll along Broadstairs beach and then to Beaches for breakfast this weekend. The food was lovely, the staff were friendly and it's in the perfect location! Definitely the best breakfast in Broadstairs, thank you!

Took a detour on my way home from are little family holiday today and it was well worth it the BEST cooked breakfast I have ever tasted my wife is Vegan and more than enough for her aswell...



It is a lovely little place great atmosphere and excellent friendly staff...

The most jovial and helpful host, food was delicious, and the walnut, chocolate & banana bread, & vegan caramel and chocolate slices are divine! I will be back for more very soon!

Since Beaches has been taken over by new ownership, the restaurant has undergone a refreshing upgrade. The food quality has seen a massive improvement and has now become a favoured place for breakfast and lunch. I usually have the veggie breakfast and the sausages are the best I've ever had. The eggs are genuinely free-range and not bought from Tesco. I can recommend the Falafel Flatbread for lunch.

Popped in for breakfast this morning and I can honestly say the beaches breakfast was simply one of the best breakfast I’ve ever had. Freshly cooked, good quality ingredients, served piping hot with good quality toast. Best I’ve had so far around Thanet, we will be back.
