Visited for the first time today and had amazing eggs benedict...the best I have ever had. Great food, tea in a proper pot and lovely friendly staff. A gem of a place and I will be back.

This is what you want a tea shop to be. Gentle background jazz, books for sale, friendly staff and most importantly great cakes and scones. PS try their savoury cream tea, it's very delicious

I love this tea shop... Or is it coffee shop.... Great choice of coffees available... The sumartran is fabulous... But good choice of different teas.. If that's your thing.. The menu is different... Choice of sandwiches or croque type cheese on toast with fab jacket potatoes... Scones and jam... Toasted tea cakes.. Home made cakes the carrot cake is to die for... Love the decor.. All pink and white... This is a great place to meet for lunch... Afternoon tea... Morning coffee.... I will be back.. Soon..

Absolutely love Beatons. Visited for the first time 6 days ago and have been twice since! Cosy atmosphere, fab extensive menu, lovely food beautifully presented and cooked to order, great drinks (love the egg timer delivered with the pot of tea!) and friendly, welcoming and engaging staff. Cannot recommend highly enough. Thank you.
