Here it is, Beatons' September Book of The Month: Wilding by Isabella Tree!
As someone who is not a landowner, hated history as a child and who treats ‘facts’ with healthy suspicion and unhealthy dread, I am an unlikely fan of ‘Wilding’ by Isabella Tree. But when a book sparkles with literary flair, passion and insight after insight relevant to ‘the common man or woman’ it is bound to be compelling...

Today 25th May I visited Angela's lovely tea room. Straight away as you walk in you are presented with the delicious selection of homemade cakes on display. The pretty decor and friendly atmosphere adding that special touch to my visit. The friendly staff offered excellent service. The mouth watering scones were a delight and the carrot cake was definitely my favourite. I give this tea room 5 stars and long may it's success continue.

Enjoy high tea at Barton’s Tearoom yesterday as a Treat for Wedding Anniversary,It was very enjoyable, could not eat all the cake 🍰 so they box it up for us to bring home which was very nice of them.

User

I can see this becoming a real asset to New Milton. The armosphere is very calming, the staff are lovely and friendly and the cakes looked to die for. The food when it arrived was of a good standard but a little on the expensive side for a lunch. Next time we will go in for afternoon tea and try some of the interesting teas.
