As well as running trains this weekend, we will also have a stand at the Haywards Heath Model Railway Show at the Dolphin Leisure Centre on Saturday between 10am-5pm.

You have a choice of four days to ride on the railway this weekend as we will be open between 2-5pm every day this Easter weekend. The Bluebells are also in full bloom at the moment!

Tomorrow is the first of our 60 running days in 2019 - don't miss it!

Our hard working volunteers will be busy this weekend preparing the railway for the 2019 season which starts next Saturday (13th).

1 month to go! The railway will reopen for its 65th season on Saturday 13th April. We will then be open every single Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holiday until the end of September. Trains run between 2-5pm, fare £1 per person, children under 1 travel free, weather permitting.

We’d like to say thank you to everyone who came to our Winter Extravaganza event and all the positive comments that we’ve received regarding it. We are gradually reading through them all and as everyone who has put up the lights, ran the trains etc etc are volunteers and no paid staff have been involved at all, it really is very heart warming. Thank you again and a Merry Christmas to you all. We can’t wait for next year.

The engines are now being cleaned after a very busy evening. Thank you to everybody who came to our Winter Extravaganza event over the four days. We look forward to next year.

Here is a taster of what to expect from our Winter Extravaganza. Today is our last day of the event, we operate from 4.30-7.30pm and £2 per person.

FINAL DAY TODAY: it’s our final day of our Winter Extravaganza event, we are operating 4.30-7.30pm. The forecast is very good so come along and enjoy the Christmas lights, music and trains. £2 per person, per ride.
