The painting is finished in the shop and most things are back where they should be. Thank you for your understanding over the last few days, its not easy painting a whole shop out while it's open. The shops looking lovely and fresh and back to business as normal! I hope everyone enjoys the rest of the bank holiday weekend Happy Easter!

If anyone looks through our windows tonight, don't worry we haven't been burgled. I've moved everything ready for the painter in the morning! Things are a bit upside down in the shop so you'll have to bare with me tomorrow, we're open from 8am till Noon tomorrow. The painter will work around us until I close at noon, then he'll be able to get the rest of the room done. Hopefully I'll be able to get most stuff moved back tomorrow night ready for opening at 7am on Saturday. Thank you for your continued support, Shona

The back room of the shop is being painted on Wednesday. Unfortunately during this time there'll be no access to the room for customer's. The rest of the shop will be open and accessible as normal. Disruption will be kept to a minimum. Sorry for any inconvenience caused, Shona.

Our Easter opening hours are: Good Friday 8am till Noon Saturday 7am till 3pm Easter Sunday 8am till Noon Easter Monday 8am till Noon... Returning to normal hours on Tuesday 23rd. All home deliveries will be made as normal.

We've made a few changes to the back room of the shop over the weekend. We are very pleased to say that we are now hosting a small gallery for local artist, Carol Gordon. Carol's fantastic artwork is now on display and available to purchase. There's original pictures and copies available among cards, postcards etc. Carol will also be using the space as a studio some days of the week. Here's a sneek preview of her fabulous work, pop in for a look!

I received this through the post today. It's amazing how much small change mounts up!

As some of you will have noticed, our maintenance is ongoing in the shop. We've still got some plastering to do and then painting. We continue to be open 7 days a week. Watch this space for exciting changes for the back room of the shop!!!! Thank you for your continued support, Shona

Sweets are unpacked, we have Chocolate Caramels (which used to be called Merry Maid's), Aniseed Twists, Black Bullets, Everton Mints and Chocolate Limes as new additions to our stock. If anyone has any requests, let me know and I'll try and get them in for you!

Another delivery of more jars of traditional sweets arrived late this afternoon, haven't had time to unpack it all. First job in the morning! 🍬🍬
