Absolutely loved the staff at BMW Thames Ditton. The whole experience was flawless.

Everyone was always smiley and welcoming - but Yasin was an absolute diamond in sorting my M140i and made the whole process so easy & quick.

Have recommended the dealership on social media and in conversation with people.

Receptionist was fantastic and she was very helpful.. rest of experience was bit of a let down. My BM was in for an airbag recall and was supposed to have complimentary healthcheck and valet. I was given call to say car is ready and went to collect. Health check wasnt done as apparently they dont tend to do it when only in for a recall (even tho was on job card). I waited and had check although im not sure was done correctly as only three items noted. No mention of the oil leak from differential orplay in steering rack.... valet wasnt worth bothering with at exterior and interior still dirty! Airbag doesnt look as fitted correctly and looks out of place (but it would seem that this happens at all BMW garages not just coopers) over all, cant fault the customer services at all but just felt that because i wasnt there spending a fortune, i want important.

this place is a joke.i took my car in for a drivers side airbag which i had booked in for three weeks ,when i took it in they didint even know it was booked in great start and then they scratched me passenger side door and rear panel showed the body shop guy peter around the scratches.two weeks later they took it in then they called me on the thursday to say my car was ready go down hadnt touched the rear panel scratches the next day call early cars ready all buffed out go there bear in mind i was busy go in wait ages about 45 mins to be told my keys were lost drive away hour later found em go get my car drive off keys wont lock now call them oh i thought it never locked not happy then on Saturday i notice my roof dented and diagnostic cover open really not happy call them took it in to show Barry Giles who denied the keys were lost oh and my door card is sqeaking over every bump which i never heard before which he said nothing to do with the my car was silent hard to even hear engine running in the end the rude idiot fixed dent but told me my key broken which they done obviously and i have to buy a new one.so wrong

STAY AWAY FROM HERE and i will be taking this further

What a waste of space. Such an unprofessional service. Waited an hour in waiting area with no communication after being told my x5 is ready for pick up. Not only can they not diagnose issues with the car, they can’t keep to time, call backs or basic customer service. Waiting in area with6-8 customers over the hour and still not able to leave with my car which I was told was ready. This is the 2nd time this month and still they can’t diagnose. Are they not BMW? Why should I tell them issues and they can’t fix. What a disgrace to any BMW dealer, car lover or mechanic. Highly annoyed!

We flew down from Glasgow to buy the car, was told it would be ready for us but when we looked round the car It still had work to be done on it, we waited in the reception an hour later was told the car was ready and we went to check it and still they had missed a few things by now it was 4pm we had no option but to take the car and drive back up home. Was promised that they would send the parts up to us and throw in a few extra accessories but they never arrived. We tried to call Ajay the salesman was always told he will call us back ofcoure that never happend. As BMW drivers for the past 27 years, within our family we have 5 BMW's at the moment. I would never recommend this dealership to anyone. BE WARNED.

They have terrible customer service - I have been so disappointed with the experience here. Always lots of waiting around and time wasted. Had the drivetrain fixed only for the warning light to go on again the next day - they are now telling me I have to pay £99 to investigate it further! What happened to customer goodwill?

Staff Retention at Coppers is so poor a rating has not even been invented for it.



Just phoned Cooper's to book my car in for service and was told that Shirin had left the company. Yet again the management were unable to retain a member of staff who was excellent at his job.



His customer service was second to none, in addition to his professionalism and knowledge of the product.



I am not alone in stating that we are fed up with the continual staff changes. Every time you go in you have to deal with a different person, and than the service received can be a challenging experience.



While Shirin was my service advisor i was more than happy to drive 50 miles to take my car to him, to be looked after. The service experience was always faultless and seamless nothing was to much trouble, even when i went in with out an appointment.



I would suggest that the Manger and his team look into the reasons for such high levels of staff turnover. If you cannot retain your staff how do you expect to give a good service experience to your customers.

Severe lack of communication, they crashed my mother's vehicle when collecting it for a warranty fault! Was told 7 days to get the car back and she can't even get a phonecall back after 3 attempts to get an update, and I myself also paid a visit to the shop on her behalf and nobody could even speak to me! Previous experiences with the body shop have also proven to be awful, severe lack of preparation and timescale!

Poor sales staff, one guy tried to tell me the price of the car is the same at all dealerships as they offer the same discount - which turned out to be BMW's finance contribution. So this turned out to be a complete and utter lie.



After I cancelled the test drive with the above sales person and requested it with the original salesman I dealt with, they lost interest taking several days to reply to a simple email requesting a test drive which I had to resend. The sales man then happened to be on a course.



I took my custom and went to another cooper dealer - who ended up being even worse.



Changed dealership and spent just shy of 55k on a 535d - morale of the story avoid this dealership as they are a waste of time. Maybe if you don't fill the 30yrs + smartly dressed lawyer / banker clientele with not a clue on how to drive a car or which BMW to buy they are not interested.

I bought my car back in Feb 17. Practically brand new as it was ex demo. I was sold additional cosmetic and alloy protection which I was happy to do. Finally went to make a claim for my alloys in Nov but the repair technician told me as soon as he saw it that BMW have done a very poor previous refurbishment and this shoddy work invalidates the policy. So I called up the dealer and 5 weeks later, there has still not been any resolution. All I have been told is that they will repair professionally but that's after my continuous chasing and have not heard anything since. I simply don't understand how hard it is to return my calls or emails!

Every time I have bought my car in for a service - I have booked well in advance - sometimes 8 weeks as I absolutely need a courtesy car only to arrive and there never be one available

I have never arrived and it is a smooth process - the staff there are rarely apologetic and just say people have not returned cars in time which is simply not good enough and it happens every time!

On this most recent occasion - I booked my car 6 weeks in advance advising I needed a courtesy car and received a text at 7.15pm the night before advising there was not one available and do not call the number back- the garage was also closed so there was no way to speak to anyone

Rubbish service and it my years of working with this garage - it gets no better I am a afraid. I have had BMW cars for 8 years but this garage has made me question whether I would have another due to the poor service

Booked car in for spring check, air con recharge & satnav update. One week before called dealership to check if it was possible for a courtesy car & despite the short notice was told I was in luck and there was one available. As I had booked time off work for this booking I needed transport. At 8 pm I receive this msg from the dealership:



Good evening Ms Holland this is BMWunfortunately we do not have a loan car for your booking tomorrowwe are very sorryPlease do not reply.



No time to make other arrangements & now face costly taxi charges!!

Bait and switch on service price.



Confirmed a price of £337 for my service two days before the appointment, yet on the day price jumped to £455. Calling two other dealers they confirmed £337 as the going rate. Called customer services, and apparently dealers are independent to set their own prices. Ended up walking away with a £999 service pack, time will tell if that was the smart resolution or if I've been mugged.



Did try to talk to the service manager, but couldn't get my calls returned.



My advice would be to use one of the other dealers.

Awful experience yesterday! Brought my car as it has been recalled, they stated that the work will take 2 hours max (the same statement was given over the phone when I booked). I waited for more 3h30 to just get my car fixed whilst all customers have already left (knowing that I was there before 9am). After getting my car back, the booth was no longer closing properly I was still present at the garage when this took place, I raise the issue immediately but the quality of service was awful, they asked me to pay for an investigation (£99) knowing that my car was under their care during this time. There is no sense of ownership from their side, knowing that they have cleaned the car inside and wash it. I am very dissatisfied with the way they have handled my case for this issue and have strongly stated to pay for an investigation and if other parts needs to be ordered then I will have to pay this additionally. Very unhappy customer!

Awful customer service at Cooper today! Arrived before they even opened and they had no record of my booking even though I confirmed it previously then I had to wait 1 hour for a courtesy car!! This made me very late for work an the manager Terry could not care less! So much for the customer satisfaction motto.

Then upon returning my temp car to get mine after it's service I had a further 45 minute wait with no updates.

I cannot wait to hand my mini back and never have to deal with this dealership again.

Berry in Chiswick is MUCH better!!

Appalling customer service from this dealership after spending £50K on a car. My son wrote a letter to the business manager in early December after promises' not being fulfilled . Not even had the decency to reply. After this household having bought our last 7 BMWs from Coopers we would not use this dealership again and would recommend others to go elsewhere.

Appalling Customer Service Ladies and Gentlemen....My Car was booked for an MOT yesterday and was duly picked up in the morning. Later in the afternoon I received a call to say that the car had pass the MOT and will be delivered in the next hour. So far so good. Then nothing happened. The car did not get delivered. Hours went by and no form of communication to say what is happening or whether there had been a delay and of course they have no out of business / emergency contact details so I was kept in the dark (quite literally). I had plans for the evening and had to cancel it. Shall I report the car stolen ? Called them and left several messages and again this morning, no phone call to say we have received your message etc. Had to call twice and was passed from pillar to post and no one could provide me with an explanation as to where is my car and why it was not delivered yesterday. They did not even the courtesy to return my initial calls. So in the end I had to go there myself and start making a scene (shouting and screaming) and only then suddenly the car materialised and NO ONE could explain to me as to why it was not delivered. For all I know the car was taken for a joy ride and was used in a crime...They clearly have no effective and traceable business processes, or staff that particularly care or give a Sh**e about your car or business. Not sure there is a MINUS STAR rating here....... DO NOT PATRONISE this establishment. DO NOT BUY / SERVICE any vehicles from/with them if you value your car. They have nothing but utter contempt for customers.

After having our new X5 delivery delayed by a week when keys were lost it then had to go back after breaking down within a month. Took weeks for it to be returned. The final straw has been the wait of over 6 weeks for a promised reimbursement for a dinner offered as an apology for all that has gone wrong. Disgrace.
