***OPEN AUDITION***
Why not start 2019 in CHAOS...
Online Audition booking form: http://www.berzerkproductions.com/dram⊠/chaos-auditions-2019
... Ages 13+ that have a love of drama/acting, or are taking the subject at GCSE and above. Please apply to be sent script and full details (above link). Audition date: Sunday 6th January. Please take careful note of full commitment needed. All welcome to apply, not just current Berzerk students.
We're interested in chaos. We think most of the time we try to impose order on our lives â weâre scared of the mess of being alive; we want to contain it, to put our hands around it. We wanted to perform something that embraced chaos, that celebrated it in all its strange, unpredictable energy and in all its trouble and beauty. We don't want it to always make sense, but we do want it to feel very alive â all the ways we all remember feeling as a teenager. The play is strictly non-linear and non-naturalistic.â

Berzerk Productions perform their annual festive production of The Snow Queen at the Alan Cornish Theatre, The Oakwood Centre, Woodley, Reading. From December 12th â 16th. Concessions and family tickets available.
With the last five years productions selling out and tickets already flying out for this production, donât leave it to late to feel the magic. One of the unique parts of their work is that young people perform, for young people. Giving young audience members the c...hance to think, âI could do thatâ. The cast work to an incredibly high standard and far exceed expectations of youth theatre in general. This year is no exception, with many of the talents of the children involved being used. With harp, flute and saxophone players, puppetry all created by local arts company Jelly, a live band courtesy of Reading Rock Project and arielist skills from young performers from Circus Passion. A mighty fine collaboration of local companies working for the better of the youth in our area.
The perfect show for families for ages 5 â 100⊠Be spirited away by this new musical adaptation of Hans Christian Andersenâs fantastical coming-of-age adventure that inspired the hit Disney movie Frozen. Join Gerda on a dangerous and whimsical quest to save her best friend Kai before he is trapped forever in the Snow Queenâs palace. Dare to enter a world where flowers sing, animals talk, and riddles yearn to be solved. With an original pop-rock score, alluring ballads, live band, special effects and the enigmatic Snow Queen, youâll soon see this is not your average bedtime story. It really does promise to be one of the hottest tickets in town this Christmas.

We feel that giving young people a voice is important... following reading this article -

We asked them what they felt about it and then created some drama pieces in the workshop around the topic. We were all pretty impressed with their performances and opinions.
... A BIG SHOUT OUT...to Kate Taylor and the organisers of TTR campaign and especially the kind folk and businesses of Tilehurst, for their community spirit to remember our fallen. A real reminder that our neighbourhood can pull together. Weâre honoured to provide drama coaching in our local schools and private centre classes, with a community that shows such strong values. For all those attending the various services around Tilehurst today, letâs stand together as we pay tribute and remember our fallen heroâs.

What an amazing outfit Berzerk is. My son has enjoyed his time with them so much, and he has had so many opportunities with them - his confidence has soared! Peter Pan was so good we had to watch it twice. Keep up the good work Berzerk.
The performance of Citizenship tonight was amazing! All of the teenagers put their hearts and souls into their performances and it was a great roller coaster ride, with both moving elements and awkward elements. Special credit to Ashton who played the role of Tom and who we have known since primary school. Such talent all in one place. Brilliant! âšxx
Recently we have been told we are a caring and communicative company! We were all very happy to read that email. We strive to do good work and bring out the best in all the young people we coach whilst keeping parents informed at all times. Here's to a sweet 16 and to say a BIG THANK YOU to all our supporters and friends.
Peter Pan was amazing as are all Berzerk Productions - loved it!
Outstanding performance from all cast members on Thursday evening! The whole story line moved me...it was incredible well done to you all ïżœ
My daughter has loved every week with the Berzerk team and being part of something so positive.....she has been coming for several years now and is now 9 and always looks forward to her lesson.
Incredible performance of Hospital Food. These young people should be extremely proud of themselves.
I have worked in mental health for over 25 years now and some of the scenes depicted were so excellently executed by the actors it was very moving. I also felt lost in the conversations, like a fly on the wall and so many issues covered in a very sensitive way. Well done to all and I also thought the set was very clever. Very professional, funny, engaging and insightful from Berzerk, well done.
Fantastic trip to Neverland this evening - thank you. Such a hard working and talented bunch!
Both of my children are loving the holiday club, thank you!
Amazing performance tonight-well done to everyone involved.we loved it.
