One of my lovely friends has a very prolific peach tree and has donated me lots of peaches! 🍑 🍑 🍑 So I’m going to try a couple of new jam recipes this year - Peach Melba jam and Peach & Amaretto jam 😋 I’m always up for making new stuff, so if there are any jams or chutneys you’d particularly like that aren’t currently on the list, let me know. If I make your suggestion and it’s a success, I’ll give you a free jar!

I know we have barely kissed goodbye to Summer but there are only 108 DAYS UNTIL CHRISTMAS 😱, so it's time for me to hop back on the preserve making treadmill once again.

Don’t forget it’s the Made In Surbiton Christmas market tomorrow at The Lamb in Surbiton. 1-7pm. Betsys has been beavering away to make all sorts of preserves and pickles ready to sell at my favourite fair. There is an eclectic range of stalls all selling handmade goods including chocolates, jewellery, kitchen knives, guitars, fabric, paintings, purses, calendars, cakes and even tablets that add sparkle to your stools (not the ones you sit on) 😂.
