Today’s menu; Sandwiches were Smoked mackerel pate & cucumber, Cajun chicken, mature cheddar, ham & farmhouse chutney & egg mayonnaise & cress. We had a savoury of a Wensleydale tartlet with fig jam & our sweet selection was Oreo cheesecake, ginger biscuits, apricot & white chocolate blondies & luscious lemon cake! Thanks to all our customers who joined us in the tearoom today. It was the last one of the year but hope to see you in 2019 😊☕️🍰

The family love trying out new recipes so I’m hoping they won’t be disappointed with this Oreo cheesecake! We’re back after a fantastic break & getting prepared to welcome our next bunch of lovely customers to our next tearoom on 17th Nov. First free availability is Feb onwards so pm me to make a booking. It was a busy day down at the tearooms today so I forgot to take any pictures, luckily Jess took a couple! Thank you to our customers for coming today, hope you had a great time & got some better photos than I did! Also huge thanks as always to the lovely team of people who help me - without whom I couldn't do it. X

What better way to spend a blustery Autumn day than doing a bit of baking therapy, testing new recipes for the tearoom. So made a toffee apple cake....will see if it gets the thumbs up from the family & if so I may got be making it again soon! 😋 Looking forward to welcoming new customers on Saturday. I'm getting quite a lot of enquiries about Betsy's Vintage Pop-up Tearoom so here's a bit more information. We will be serving afternoon teas in Skellingthorpe Methodist Church Hall on 21st July, 15th September & 17th November with a view to us popping up once a month at the same venue (the 3rd Saturday of the month) after Christmas if we get enough support! Unfortunately we can't accept walk-in customers I'm afraid so please pre-book & for just £10pp you will get freshly made sandwiches, savouries, scones with jam & cream, a selection of cakes served with unlimited tea & coffee. 20% of any profit is going to St Barnabas Hospice so you can come & eat cake knowing you'll be helping a good cause too! My mum went to Betsy's with a friend this afternoon. They both had a really enjoyable time, so much so they're already planning their next visit. The quality of the tea and homemade food was only matched by the friendly service and warm atmosphere within. My mum said she would recommend Betsy's to anyone.

I enjoyed such a perfect afternoon tea yesterday at Betsy’s pop up tea rooms. The atmosphere was lovely and Jess and Liv couldn’t have been more helpful.

All the food was phenomenal; the double chocolate brownie in particular was to die for!

Best afternoon tea in lincoln.. So much selection to choose from and tasted amazing. The attention to details was unbelievable so much effort was put into the whole experience. Would highly recommend!! Thank you for our delicious tea ���...Oh and the tea pots were huge!!

Best afternoon tea I've had! Yummy sandwiches, sausage rolls and cakes. Really good service and we left feeling very full and even had a doggy bag! Great value for money, Will definitely be going again.
