Betty’s was buzzing with creativity yesterday - back to back birthday party craft sessions followed with party food in the tearoom for Pippa who was 12, while Jo had a surprise afternoon tea followed by a craft session for her 50th. Being around such creative people make it such a great place to work🙏🏻

What an amazing Alladin’s cave for sewing enthusiasts. Lovely tea room aswell delish scones, will definitely visit again. Very helpful advice on knitting as well. Thank you.

What a great little tearoom. The choice & variety of sandwiches & cake on the afternoon tea was exceptional. Such good value for money too. Nothing was too much trouble for the lovely ladies who served us & we came away with the promise to ourselves that we will go back. I have already recommended to another family member to take my 2 little great-grandaughters. Thank you Betty's Sewing Box.

We love this little shop, you can’t beat a good rummage through vintage pretties and cake to finish the visit off! And my little ones love the play area, always makes a visit less stressful x

We had a brilliant crafting session and afternoon tea for a hen party. All the staff were really helpful and friendly.

Visited today for afternoon tea for a friend's birthday. Very well priced @£10 each. Lovely setting, very vintage decor, China plates and beautiful food which came as soon as we arrived. The staff were friendly and attentive and we had unlimited tea, egg, tuna, cheese and tomato and ham sandwiches plus gorgeous scones with jam and cream, chocolate fudge cake, Victoria sponge and millionaires shortbread. So yummy! There's also the option to do a bit of sewing as you chat and eat. I did a little cross stitch and my friend sewed on a patch for a blanket. It was such a nice day. On site parking and free parking 2 hrs on street too. Will go again x

This is the most amazing place for a crafting workshop (especially for people like me that rarely craft and need loads of help)!



We had a brilliant family hen gathering here a couple of weeks ago with quite a mix of people in our group but the workshop had something for everyone. Jackie and Alison were a great help and very patient!



We each created a patch square piece that was brought together to make a cushion cover for the bride who as a result was very emotional!



After the workshop, we had the most FABULOUS afternoon tea. There was plenty to go round and the cakes and scones were divine. Fantastic value for money as well. We are definitely going back!

We visited for my daughters 10th Birthday with 5 friends, everything was perfect. Everyone had a lovely time, returning home with a sense of achievement, a juggling chicken! and a tummy full of cake. Thank you 😊

Stumbled across this place recently and loved it. Took mum yesterday and she adored it. Perfect place for picking up essential bits! The ladies are super friendly and the food is lovely.

Our first visit but certainly won't be our last. The lady who served us (Jeanette I think) was so friendly and kind to our little girl. Really lovely food enjoyed by all three of us. My husband is still talking about the home made mackerel pate! Next time we'll try to save room to sample cakes or scones!

Lovely quirky vintage tearoom, excellent food and coffee lovely friendly staff. Very clean, an enjoyable experience we will definitely be back.

We also picked up some lovely items from the Sewing box.

Lovely luncheon in unique venue. Our visit was made all the more convivial by the warm and welcoming Jeanette who recommended the home made roasted red pepper soup which was indeed hearty and delicious. Will visit again!..

Just had an afternoon tea here with two friends, it was absolutely lovely, plenty of sandwiches and delicious cakes and scones with jam cream and butter all washed down with tea x the surroundings are lovely and we made to feel very welcome. I will definitely be coming back soon �

An Aladdins cave for crafters! Very helpful and knowledgeable staff. The cafe was amazing! Fantastic choice of delicious food. We had the afternoon tea which was great value and delicious. Definitely worth a visit.

Amazing choice of craft materials and a cuppa & toasted tea cake to keep hubby happy whilst I browsed. What more could you want.

A truly wonderful evening, making pillow case dresses with Jackie and 8 other ladies this week. Jackie taught us the pattern and was on hand to guide us through at each stage. She is so patient, especially when I sew things wrong and need to unpick them! Thank you Jackie for your help and inspiration xx

Took my mum for afternoon tea, the staff were fantastic and the food was good homemade , great quality and well worth the drive and the money .
