After five annual shows in Los Angeles, the organizers of Luftgekühlt are dipping a toe in international waters taking a road trip to Europe.
Luft-GB, its first overseas event, at Bicester Heritage, on Sunday, July 29, 2018. True to the spirit of the original 2014 event in Venice, California, Luft-GB will be a smaller and informal affair, pulled together collaboratively with friends made by the organizers through the motor racing and vintage Porsche scenes.
The grit, herita...ge and aesthetic of Bicester Heritage will mesh perfectly with the massive British enthusiasm for air-cooled Porsches, allowing the Luftgekühlt story to be framed in a perfectly British way.
Like past shows, this first overseas foray will feature a blend of curated, pre-selected rarities and ticketed enthusiasts’ cars. There will be a limited number of slots to fill within the venue, and they will be reserved on a first-come, first-served basis.
A full complement of catering, coffee and other beverages will be available on-site, as will a limited line of event merchandise and artwork highlighting some of the featured cars at the show.

Just a little over a year ago, we said goodbye to 'Hope' the blue whale who was delicately pieced together and suspended from the roof of Hangar 113 at Bicester Heritage by Research Casting International. Now centre stage at the Natural History Museum, London, Hope is the star attraction!

Having lain dormant for some forty years, they have recently been delicately restored, with new purpose and life breathed back in.
Totalling 425 acres, including an active airfield, test circuit facility, event hangars and a collection of industry leading specialist motoring businesses, Bicester Heritage is the home of the classic car.
