Calling all neighbors in the Blackbird and Greater Leys communities:
Do you like seeing trash blowing in the street like leaves in the wind, piling up under hedges, or overrunning your local rivers and streams? Do you want a chance to get to know your neighbors? If so, come and get involved! This volunteer-led and run project will host a monthly clean up of our streets and public spaces in and around the Greater/Blackbird Leys communities. Events will run on a twice monthly ...schedule to start - the first Sunday of the month at 11 am, and two weeks later on Saturday at 9 am. Our first event will be on Saturday, May 25 at 9:00 am and we will be meeting at "Stonehenge" in Fry's Hill. As a new group, we are also looking for volunteers who would be interested in organizing and planning events. Please reach out if you have a special interest in event coordination and management.

Oxford Mail report from the Community Planning Weekend. A feedback session from Catalyst, Oxford City Council and JTP is planned for the 18th June 2019 and the resulting plans will be showcased at the Leys Festival, later on in the month.

Interested in helping to shape the future of Blackbird Leys? Free on Friday or Saturday? Pop into the Barn and meet with Catalyst, Oxford City Council and JTP, the architects at the Community Planning Weekend.

Feeling thirsty?? Dont forget the Centre has joined Refill Oxford, providing free drinking water and therefore helping to reduce the amount of plastic we use. Drop into the Centre Reception between 9am and 3pm on weekdays ­¤źø­¤źø­¤źø­¤źø­¤źø­¤źø­¤źø­¤źø­¤źø­¤źø­ ¤źø­¤źø­¤źø­¤źø­¤źø­¤źø­¤źø­¤źø­¤źø­¤źø­ ¤źø­¤źø

During Reception opening hours, please drop in to fill your water bottles. Lets look after the planet and reduce the amount of plastic we use.

Want to get involved in shaping the future of the Blackbird Leys Central District? On the 10th and 11th May at The Barn, OX4 7BU, drop into the Community Planning weekend to get involved. See Fliers for times and details ! These sessions allow you to pop in, on either day, no need to stay for the whole session if you already have plans. Hope to see you there !!!!

CDI Half Term Project - Easter Fun from 8th to 18th April. 10am to 4pm. Only ┬Ż3.00 per day !!!!

Shaping the future of Blackbird Leys, the Regeneration Consultation drop-ins start tomorrow, Saturday 6th April from 12-5pm and then again on Tuesday 9th April from 4.30pm to 8pm. Come and meet the City Council and Catalyst team who are leading on this project.
