Staff throughout the hospital were treated today to a fish and chip lunch (not forgetting the peas too!)
The Saxon Clinic put a lot of effort into understanding what our staff want, and what would make coming to work better for them. As it turns out Fish and Chip Friday was one of the things that was quite popular.
Well it certainly looks that way judging by the smiles on the teams' faces

Meet the face behind the Facebook Page! We are delighted to announce that our Marketing Officer, Natalie Wallace has been promoted to Marketing Manager.
Natalie will be overseeing The Saxon Clinic as well as The Three Shires Hospital and The Manor Hospital. Natalie has worked tirelessly on growing our footprint and has done a fantastic job since she started with us in January 2017.
We are all very proud of you Natalie - CONGRATULATIONS!

The Theatre team were in high spirits this week following the triple celebration for a member of their TTO team.
Congratulations to Sue Cotter who is not only celebrating a milestone birthday this month, but she is also marking her 30 years anniversary working as a much valued member of the Saxon Clinic team.
It just so happens Sue was also nominated for, and won, The Saxon Clinic's Employee of the month award for March. The Staff have noted her dedication, continual willing...ness to help and constant hard work keeping the theatres running.

Today the Saxon Clinic officially opens doors to its brand new and recently refurbished Imaging department.
We are delighted to have Fujifilm UK Ltd representatives on site to take part in the celebrations and see their FDR Visionary Suite in action.

Dr Behnam has more than 30 years’ experience in General and Elderly medicine with specialist interest in stroke and cognitive problems.

The Saxon Clinic say a sad goodbye this week to Gary Mabbutt, Engineer.
Gary started working at the Saxon Clinic five years ago and has kept the hospital going even through heatwaves and floods! Gary will be remembered for his constant smile, friendly and helpful attitude as well as his dedication to the work he did to maintain the clinic.
We wish Gary all the luck in the world as he moves over to our sister hospital, The Three Shires. All the best Gary, from everybody at the Saxon.

Many of our patients and visitors to site will have seen the on-going refurbishment project that is taking place at The Saxon Clinic - The latest development recently arrived in the staff car park with the delivery of our brand new Fujifilm Visionary X-Ray equipment.
The X-Ray department refurbishment will be completed in 3 weeks when we will have a high grade, ultra modern Digital X-Ray room and newly refurbished Ultrasound room. Keep an eye on our social media pages for photos!

Physiotherapists from across the BMI network have come together this week for training on the new Unloader One knee brace by Össur - being nicely modeled by our physio at the front.
This brace is used to help patients who suffer from Knee Osteoarthritis and our physiotherapists spent the afternoon undertaking practical training on how to help their patients use the equipment most effectively and safely.
Many thanks to our Ossur representatives, Stewart Hogg and Ajmal Miah, who led the session.

The Saxon Clinic would like to wish a very warm welcome to the newest member of the Paediatric team, Registered Children's Nurse, Lisa Murphy.
Lisa joined the Saxon Clinic last month and has already become and integral member of the team. She joins after nearly 7 years working as a Paediatric Nurse at Milton Keynes University Hospital.
