Where to even begin?



Since joining BNI back in 2012 I have gained so much on a personal and a business level.



Personally, I have gained many contacts that are able to help out in my life as well as my friends and families lives, for example having people to turn to in the help of a house purchase. There is also the confidence that it gives you; standing up and speaking in front of 30+ people every week is a great way to increase your confidence.



On a business level BNI is a massive percentage of our marketing strategy and brings in a brilliant return from what we put into it financially. It also enables us to help other business associates through the network of professional people we have worked with over the years, making us not only look better as a business but meaning that we can help other businesses find their feet.



Lastly, it is a great way to socialise with a number of like-minded people on a weekly basis but also outside of the meetings via social nights and just general chats and meetings. 100% worth the early mornings and one of the best decisions to date.

Proud to be the longest standing member of this group, with 9 years under my belt. This group brings in over 50% of my companies revenue at JAM Marketing Limited. If you're in business, can you really consider not being part of a group that each seat is currently worth on average £42000? We meet every Friday at 6.45am at the Quality Hotel, Boldon. You get a cracking breakfast and get to meet like-minded businessmen and women who all recommend each others services. My company, Inpro Media, joined BNI Cookson in the summer of 2016. As a new startup business, generating new opportunities and getting your name out there has been the hardest challenge we've faced.

Since being a member of the chapter the number of referrals we've received to work with other members in the room and also businesses that they are in contact with has been tremendous.

Currently over 80% of our new and ongoing business has come from BNI Cookson with at least £10,000 in new sales being generated for us over the next 12 months.

If you are a small business in South Tyneside, I can't recommend joining the chapter enough. I personally have found no better way of generating new business for my company.

I have been a member of BNI Cookson for over 4 years and it is one of the best decisions I have ever made. As a law firm at PGS Law, we receive a lot of business from the other members in the group. However, the best thing about it is being involved in a network of like-minded local business people from all different trades and professions, allowing us to offer a more all round service to our clients by being able to recommend people we trust. I have made some fantastic friends in the group and my personal development has been noticeable to myself and others as a result of my involvement.
