What a Beautiful place , had a great afternoon fantastic friendly family run buisness in the most perfect location , and the milkshakes are to die for cant wait to return

Went today for our fist visit and will 10000% be returning!! Lovely staff so friendly and a beautiful place— best milkshakes ever! My 5 year old daughter has coeliac disease and we went for sunday lunch, the staff at the boat shack were so accommodating to us and nothing was a problem so thank you so much

We popped in today for a milkshake, 5 of us in total and our furry friend, staff were very friendly, we were told there was an hour wait and we were happy to wait, we only waited 30 minutes, the milkshakes were worth the wait, we will deffo be back, and our dog can't wait to get through the dog menu xx

Such a fantastic place.... we visit at least once a week with our 18month old son. Staff are so friendly and accomadating!! The site is clean and well maintained in a beautiful spot with amazing views !! Well worth a visit, highly recommend !!! ☺️

Just been up to the reservoir for the first time in a few months and it was the first time I noticed this place so me and my Mam decided to pop in. Went for a drink originally but popped back later for a milkshake. It was amazing. Service was superb and the location was stunning too. Will definitely be back and I highly recommend others to visit too.

Having stayed here this weekend I wish we could give 10 stars the glamping pod we stayed in Decs Den was amazing the pods are clean, well laid out and the beds are huge and very comfortable. We also had a log burner hot tub which was heated for us and perfect temperature to just use. Everything here is perfect. I would recommend to everyone. We can't wait to go back. Even with two toddlers we had such a great time and even if you just go for the food the milkshakes are to die for. Well done to everyone who has put in the hard work here, keep going you have built a corner of perfect. Will see you again very soon. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Great food and drink the milkshakes are tremendous and the staff are very friendly and welcoming and great with the kids. Lovely place we have been a couple of times now after walks and will definitely be going again. Thankyou

Gorgeous peaceful surrounding the food and milkshakes are great. My only nit pick would be to not sprinkle stuff on the beans on toast without asking the customer as My Mam didn't like it. We would definatly visit again it's beautiful xx

Found this place totally by chance and absolutely loved it. Lovely selection of drinks, very friendly owners and we happily sat and watched Sam work his magic behind the bar with the drinks. Good menu that covers all of the basics so hopefully we’ll have time for food on our next visit and not just cake!!

Can’t recommend highly enough food and shakes were awesome and the staff are friendly and even take the time to actually talk to you will be my new place!!!!

Can I just say thank you to your kind staff. We broke down on the hill out of Pow Hill and whilst waiting for the breakdown truck, I called in and ordered some food to take out. Your staff were very kind offering any help we needed. We were recovered and taken home safe and sound. Thank you again. The sandwiches and salad were delicious. ÔøΩÔøΩ

Been upto the bostshack today for sunday dinner..... got too say the food was top notch and was on the table within around 5 minutes from ordering..... the service was amazing it was our first time there and were made too feel like regulars.... plus theres no where else around where you can sit and have your dinner with a view like up there.... defintly be going back there ÔøΩÔøΩ

Been to the boat shack on numerous occasions for meals and glamping, you are always warmly welcomed by the owners. Our recent visit was for Sunday lunch, food was fantastic as so was the service. Would highly recommend not only for the food but the views and walks are good also.

The place is spotless and so pretty the girls enjoyed there amazing milkshakes and I enjoyed taking in the beautiful scenery we will be back! Xxx

Absolutely love this place came a few weeks ago and literally can’t get enough the milkshakes are the best around, perfect family place and even better to bring the family pet as they even have a doggy menu catering for all the family. The staff are so friendly and the service is absolutely second to none. Definitely need to try the glamping just looks so good. Would recommend to anyone it’s the most perfect day �. Love love love

Absolutely great. Friendly staff, great food and drink. Made very welcome and we will definitely go back. I know some professional complainers and they’d struggle to pick fault here. Top marks , keep doing what you do.

We have just returned from the boathouse and were really disappointed. We ordered 4 milkshakes 2 of which just tasted like milk. No flavour to the actual shake once you got under all the toppings. We also ordered a jacket potato with cheese and beans, which was microwaved and had no more than a desert spoon of beans on and a mere sprinkling of cheese. The two tuna and ‘cucumber’ sandwiches came without cucumber! And a bowl of cheesey chips. We were told there was a 40-45 minute wait on food which came after 50 mins and we were really disappointed and puzzled why something so poor took so long to make! The food is definitely overpriced for what you get. I wasn’t going to leave a poor review, rather just discuss it with the staff so it wasn’t public. However when the waitress started to clear the table whilst i was still eating and i then just thought these people haven’t much of a clue how to run a food establishment. Such a shame as it’s in a great location!
