Took my children for a nice day here yesterday and they absolutely loved it οΏ½ I haven't been here for years my self and it is so lovely. We had such a good day. The staff were all so lovely and friendy. Thank you οΏ½ definitely visiting again xx
Such a lovely environment. Staff are so friendly, we are up there at least once a week to just go and have a nice lunch with our 1yr old. We had her birthday party here recently and it was fantastic. Deffo 5*
My husband and I love coming here with our daughter. Always excellent service and yummy food served quickly. We enjoyed the breakfast buns and a sausage roll for my daughter yesterday. Can't wait until the summer so we can sit outside!
Lovely location, lovely coffee, lovely pool, just lovely!
My only critique is the bathrooms are almost always gross,so I would suggest if you want to go, go to the loo before you leave XD but aside from that really brilliant and well worth supporting :)
I go to the boating pool nearly every week for a fantastic breakfast because all the staff are brilliant, nothing is to much trouble for them. Off course everyone of them are good looking as well :)
Had a lovely catch up with friends over breakfast. Good food at a reasonable price. Nice and friendly π
Friendly staff, lovely menu. Staff always happy to help. Definitely a place to go in the summer. :)
Came after years and the boys aged 9 and up loved it! Considering it's FREE to play you can't ask for me. Reasonably priced also for food and drink work great views οΏ½
Been coming here for years. Lovely sitting in the sun.
Been bringing my children and now bring my grandchildren here for years and they love it ! They like the play area and I like the addition of the grass and picnic tables inside so I can watch the children all the time. We always have lunch and sometimes ice cream, the view is perfect and we always have a lovely day x Staff are always helpful and polite and the lady owner is very friendly x
A lovely spot overlooking the sea with lots to do for the kids in a safe environment, while parents can enjoy a cup of tea, coffee, glass of wind or a beer οΏ½
Went right back to my childhood holidays of the 1970's on my visit to the Boating Pool this week. Lovely staff, very nice breakfast thank you very much - with PROPER bacon and THICK toast! My son (12) worked his way through a mountainous portion of beans on toast which he said was yummy, then we went off to play Air Hockey in the little vintage-style arcade before taking a pedalo out on the lake. The play area is geared more towards younger children but they all seemed to be enjoying themselves. Plenty of outside seating with perfect sea views. We loved it. Ignore the negative comments and make your own mind up by paying it a visit.
We had a fantastic time x the children enjoyed the play area and an ice cream x
Great food and very friendly staff and the view speaks for itself and the latte's are nice as well, lots for kids to do with the boating pool and bouncy castle.
Food was nice, was served by Victoria (name on receipt) she was friendly and helpful. Just wished bouncy castle was supervised as too many big kids on there bouncing little ones off and pulling the sides down.
Really busy bank holiday so didn't mind having to wait half an hour for food. The staff were also very pleasant. Unfortunately lots of tables were uncleared and dirty. When our food came it all came at different times so we couldn't eat together and mine was overcooked. Lots of things in the arcade were not working including the change machine. Great play area for the children and lovely boating pool to hire a boat but more staff needed with better organisation.
Won't be going again!! Dirty sticky tables, rubbish all over the floor, no toilet paper, dirty toilets, bouncy castle not attended or blown up probably. Owner was arguing with people!! Prices gone up since Easter holidays have started. 2 star for the Lovely view thou, could be soo much better
weeds every where, disgusting wooden square in play area, why don't the owners sweep up and plant some flowers, dirty rusty chairs in play area , this place could be a gold mine if they cleaned up, Toilets are BAD .
Oh dear; expensive breakfast with cheap ingredients; told could only have a latte with the breakfast so asked for something with less milk and was charged extra for it, my companion got the same even though he wanted a latte. No gluten free options at all, even thought the girl behind the counter said they were frequently asked for this. Sausage missing from No1 breakfast and no bread and butter with mine at all....Β£14 for an inadequate so called large breakfast and a small breakfast missing a third....just don't bother...Viking Ship Cafe 2 miles down the coast a world away from this place....shame as the location is beautiful
