#Repost @mad_about_the_house with @get_repost ・・・ This is the Imola chair which is celebrating its 10th anniversary this month. It was created in response to a request by @boconcept_official from one of its newest designers for a “timeless recliner”. But Henrik Pedersen, for whom this was one of his first ever clients, decided to take a risk with sweeping curves, sharp edges and visual tension.... His gamble paid off, which just goes to show, and to celebrate Pedersen’s design BoConcept have created 600 limited edition versions in soft black velvet. The one here is in golden corduroy (it’s the new velvet you know) and sadly it was only loaned to me for 24 hours for the picture. The Mad Husband loved it, the 17yo stayed in the sitting room for longer than he has done in weeks, and the 15yo suggested selling his bed so he could fit it in his room. Safe to say it’s incredibly comfortable - if large. Spot my friendly local photobomber at the bottom of the picture too.
