Bombay Bay is such a great place for really "fresh" and "tasty" Indian food. You can really taste all the spices and flavours - defo the best Indian in town. The staff are lovely! Always so happy and keen to make sure everything is just right. Excellent choice!

Lovely restaurant, friendly staff, enjoyed the two courses for £14.95. The samosa starter was delicious, crispy pastry and a lovely filling. I had a chicken tikka, the chicken was tender and really tasty.

Despite the fact that we booked a table for 5 they put us on a small table so was very cramped, but friendly service and the food was good, a littke expensive but worth it, shame about the small table, but will go again.

A little out of the way and a little out of the ordinary too. It's nice to try a different menu although the old favourites are there too. Good food and attentive staff prices reasonable. I would certainly go back.

The meal was ok. We were handed plates and cutlery rather than having then served or put down in front of us. Although I have had worse, I've had better too!

Myself and my partner were brought the bill and hurried out of the restaurant Saturday night, despite having two full drinks yet to finish, spent an hour there and pre booked the table a week beforehand. Let alone being charged £4 for four poppadoms. Sadly, will not be returning!

Service was really bad I hadn’t booked however a lot of empty tables I asked for a table of 2 and it was passed through a few different members of staff which put me off to begin with , we weren’t made to feel welcome and wrong curry came out heard such good things but thoroughly disappointed !! Curry had no taste to it and we waited such a long time for our main meal !! Would not recommend and won’t be going back !!

Just went to this restaurant hoping things had improved over the last year. Well, we didn't even get as far as ordering food this time as the guy made us feel so uncomfortable.

There were people at 4 tables and he snappily asked if we had booked. We hadn't - it was 2.15 in the afternoon and the place was practically empty. He ummed and aahhed over the diary and grunted at us to sit at a table for 2.

My husband and I looked at each other and both agreed that we felt so unwelcome and uncomfortable that they weren't getting a penny of our well earned money.

Downright rude, unfriendly and unwelcoming.

Will never set foot in this establishment again.
