A lot of love for this coffee from the San Pedro region of Tolima, Colombia.
The finca Los Olivos is owned by Floralba Apio. She currently grows Caturra and Castillo coffee trees on her small family ran farm. Her coffee is hand harvested and fermented for just over 24 hours and dried in the sun.
This washed process allows the coffee to showcase crisp red grape acidity with honey and golden raisin tasting notes.
... Currently on batch filter today here at Bond St!

On International Womens Day we’d like to recognise that there's a long way to go in the coffee industry... Where disparity between men and women widely exists across the industry.
We’d like to acknowledge powerful women we work with, notably 25 year old Daniela Gutierrez, who manages San Marcos coffee farm in Costa Rica. Such a high position held by a woman is not common in the current coffee farming sphere.
We would like to acknowledge that Specialty Coffee has an opportuni...ty to minimise the gender gap, here at Bond St we are devoted to supporting women in this industry - from farm to cafe.

Rwanda Cupping!
@horshamcoffee have developed a valuable relationship with Jean Paul, owner of Liza washing station in Rwanda, over the last couple years. Here at Bond St Coffee we are very pleased to be able to showcase what Jean Paul has to offer - From boozy thick naturals to super bright clean washed coffees and everything in between!
A huge variety of processing methods will be on the table and we can't wait to see you all there!

You have become my favourite coffee shop ever! Please tell me how you make the coffee taste so clean, fruity & non bitter. I have bought some of your Rwanda Motherland which is amazing, but I can't achieve the same taste at home. Help!

User

With out a doubt the best coffee in Brighton. Me and my other half go here all the time before work. Friendly chaps that work there too. We've been to pretty much anywhere that sells coffee in the whole town centre and this is the one. Go here coffee lovers!

User

User

Lovely coffee shop. Staff very friendly, are currently trying out some of their coffee beans at home. Will be our coffee shop of choice in Brighton.

User

User

If you want an amazing coffee and you want to support a local, ethical, family run business - please go to Bond St. Coffee - it's the best in Brighton!

User

I've traveled all around the world but never tasted coffee like that before! Whenever I'm in Brighton it will be my first port of call. Staff are too cool for school and panda to customers needs without the cheese and explain things really well educating you around coffee without making you feel like some idiot asking dumb questions! A must if visiting Brighton

User

I was resigned to the fact that England is full of rubbish coffee and people who are happy to drink it. It was nice to find a place that shows respect for the growers by sourcing and making great coffee.

User

Excellent coffee; excellent cake! Toasted banana and walnut cake with butter...brilliant!

User

Best coffee I've tasted in the UK. Being from the coffee capital of the world (Melbourne) I've become an absolute snob. These guys rock!

User

Really nice choice of coffees and hot drinks! Lovely homemade cakes etc too. Quirky furniture and relaxed atmosphere! Definitely recommend!

User

One of the things I love about Brighton is the huge variety of great independent coffee shops., and this is one of them. In a part of town with so many chain shops to choose from its great to be able to just head past the back of the Theatre Royal and find this real gem of a store, with coffee that actually tastes like coffee. My only gripe though is the loo! The loo seat was broken and not actually attached to the loo. This was erm........awkward, and did take away some of my enjoyment of the otherwise excellent facilities. A replacement is neither expensive nor difficult to facilitate and would do so much to enhance others enjoyment and comfort. I will be back :-)

User

In my opinion the best coffee shop in Brighton. Excellent choice of coffees with friendly and knowledgeable staff. Muffins aren't half bad either!

User

I always come here during my free time. Coffee is good, but the dairy free chocolate shot is awful...

User

The coffee was nice but far from the best I've tasted. The baristas (male) were surly and unfriendly and I felt like a nuisance.

User

Ordered 3 things. 2 foul tasting coffees turned up. I don't know if I'm a coffee philistine, but this stuff just tasted wrong. Waiter called me "dude", "guy", and "man" then forgot my cake. Pillock.
