Despite the strong winds we will still be meeting this morning at the normal time of 1030am but PLEASE only travel and come to the church if you feel safe doing so. Your safety always will come first. Hope everybody has an amazing Sunday

On Saturday 22nd February we will be holding a day of prayer. Prayer is important and with so much happening in the world, the country and the local community we have decided to hold a full day of prayer from 10am-10pm. All are welcome to attend. If there is anything in particular you feel you or someone you know may need prayers for we will also pray for you (now and on the day). Feel free to comment with items for prayer or, if personal and dont wish posted on social media, feel free to message our page. God bless each and every one of you 😊

Great first concert by the ukulele group that meet at our church on Wednesdays at the church. Thank you for all that attended and think we were all in agreement of how great a job they all done. Fantastic performance all!!!

Unfortunately, we have to cancel PowerHouse youth group tonight due to a shortage of leaders. Apologies to all our members- we’ll be back in two weeks’ time. Meantime, take care of each other and be kind to everyone!

A huge congratulations to Jacques and Cordelia on their wedding today at Borstal Baptist Church. May your years together be filled with love and happiness. It was lovely to see all your friends and family for such a special occasion, making this special commitment to each other in front of God.

Today was the induction of our new minister in training. It is an exciting time ahead as we welcome Tim and his young family to our church. He has great ideas on how we can help serve you.

So, as summer draws down and autumn hides just round the corner, our groups are starting back again - Kingsquad (03/09/19), PowerHouse (06/09/19), the Friendly Bean Community Coffee Shop (04/09/19), and Little Treasures (10/09/19).

Next Tuesday morning we are running a uniform swap shop. Simply bring any out grown or no longer needed uniform and see if can find some in your childs size. Uniform is such a big expense, especially for those already struggling. Lets get together as a community and help each other out. Oh and there will be tea and coffee too!

Kingsquad has now finished for the summer (back on Tuesday 3 September), but Little Treasures is on tomorrow for its last session before the break.
