It's with great sadness that The BottleShop is closing. Our team are heart broken having not been able to say "goodbye" to our customers who we are proud to call friends. We are working tirelessly with administrators to do what we can to save this place which has become the heart of our community in Margate. We hope to have some exciting news to announce soon and we hope we could be open again in time for Easter. In the meantime if you bump into one of our fabulous team please do give them a hug.

What a chilled relaxed place to be barman couldn't have been more helpful. Great advice on beers ciders etc. Set up record player upstairs so daughter could play her vinyls couple of hours chilling here. Listening to pet shop boys and more. Looking across harbour and to recycler. Quirky seating a must visit place.

We enjoyed our visit to the Bottle Shop, very nice atmosphere with a varied selection is beers on tap and fantastic views across the harbour. We will visit again.

This is a great place. Buzzing on bank holiday, lots of unusual beers, including sour which is really worth a try. Also do beer tasting nights which are hosted by Steve and are teallybintesting alongside trying various beers. Worth a visit

The bottle shop soon became our go to place. Social drinks with friends, just a quick one after work, my cousins leaving do... perfect for all occasions. The staff are wonderful and the vibe is so lovely. Constantly rotating drinks and forever having great diversity and to top it all of you can Sit outside and watch the stunning margate sunsets �

The Bottle Shop is absolutely my favourite place for a beer in Margate. When I arrive Steve or Stu will pour a taste of something unusual and invariably delicious into a glass for me to sample and they always seems to know just what I'm in the mood for... All the staff are friendly, knowledgeable and it's just a fabulous bar. I may have to go for a drink right now, I've suddenly developed a thirst! 😄👍🏼

Had the pleasure of returning here after five months. What a place! Exceptional beer and welcoming, knowledgeable staff. Good to return to see a familiar friendly face behind the bar, great music and beer as ever.

Can't wait to get back when I next work in Margate.

Brilliant bar!! Good atmosphere , very friendly and knowledgeable staff, it's good to be able to sample the beer before buying. Wouldn't visit Margat without calling in the Bottleshop.

Always have a great time here. Amazing selection of beers and the on tap gin and tonic is a must. Great choice for the designated driver too and definitely the best zero beers in town. Lovely staff and great hosts.

A really nice addition to the seafront at Margate. Staffed by people who really care about their beers and are both knowledgable and helpful. If you are dipping your toe into the micro pub/craft ale scene for the first time I can recommend a visit, you will enjoy the variety on offer. There is even a nice refreshing selection of drinks for those seeking non-alcoholic refreshment. Don’t forget to check out exhibitions of local artists which feature in the bar.
