Went there yesterday 2/06/8, to celebrate my daughter in laws mothers 60th birthday. There was 16 booked r the party, food was fantastic and the service even better. Would definitely recommend

We had a lovely birthday meal here last night. Food was fabulous, ( Steaks melt in mouth, Crispy beef apparently excellent and beetroot and feta tart lovely but a bit more feta would not go amiss) wine was perfect, service was excellent honestly nothing to criticise it was all just lovely thank you

Oh just thought of a criticism 😂 The menu was really tatty might be worth thinking about renewing or possibly laminating? Only thing that let you down 😊

We had a brilliant evening to celebrate 🎉 my birthday with my family. Loved the food Lobster , steak as well as the suckling pig were cooked perfectly and the bubbly personality of Monica and knowkledge made it perfect night !

Very tasty healthy food � would really recommend! Baby loved it too !!

This must be our third visit and everyone has been amazing. We visited on Saturday on my birthday. The food like always was delicious, excellent service & really friendly, happy staff. Our boy had the mac & cheese and it's the first time in his 2.5 year life that he finished his lunch without any fuss.

So. Thank you for making our visit special.

This is for sure the best restaurant in the country! I can not compliment the food enough!

My husband and I went on a romantic date few Saturdays ago and as you can imagine it was extremely busy! It was absolutely full, but we couldn't feel it, our waiter Marco made us feel special and very welcomed.

The food there is literally out of this world! to start with we had moules mariniere served in beautiful big pot, followed by....THE BEST TRUFFLE RISOTTO i have EVER had! pure heaven! Huge compliments to the chef as he is a massive asset to your company!

I have already told everyone about Brasserie Blanc in Portsmouth and can not wait to be back for my birthday! <3

Staff very friendly, didn't have very long to wait for food and all courses were delicious. First visit but will definately not be the last. Well done to all xxx

I don't often give 5 star reviews, however I can't fault Brasserie Blanc at all. Came here for my friends birthday as a walk in and at first felt a little out of place as it comes across as pretty posh... however the staff are down to earth and the manager was very attentive to us as well.

Reasonable wait for food



They even do Gunwharf discount on food for staff so that was a bonus for us! It is a little more expensive than other places in gunwharf but really not by much. I paid £15 for a burger with fries and it truly was worth every penny.



The service and food in most restaurants in gunwharf is generally quite poor so it's nice to find somewhere that ticks all the boxes and that I can actually warrant spending money in.

Great atmosphere in the restaurant and perfect for a leaving meal for a colleague as able to hold a conversation without distraction. Good value set menu with great food. The pan fried winter vegetable fritter was amazing and the steak frites was perfectly cooked. A good range of craft beer too.

From the moment we walked into the restaurant we were taken care of by a waiter (sorry can't remember his name, but from Perth). He explained the menu and our experience began. I was away with my friend on a shopping trip and was staying at the Leopard Inn. Our meal was superb and I'm a total lover of cheese soufflé and may I say yours was excellent. Fantastic meal great service. If I had to make one criticism the chairs were a little hard!!

Food and service tonight were beyond amazing. You really get a sense of the quality of the food, we finished date night completely happy and very full! Couldn’t be more keen to return and would absolutely recommend to anyone after a meal that goes above and beyond expectations. Special thank you to Simone who was a lovely host and very attentive!

Fantastic. The food is tremendous. Yes it's a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for. The difference in price between this and other places isn't really all that much though.



The service is superb. On the several occasions we have been they have been especially helpful, particularly for my wife whose disabilities they cater for so well.



The wine list is good and changes regularly. We have never been disappointed.



Definitely a 5 star establishment.

Excellent attentive service, host noticed my 8 yr old was telling us something negative as she ate & cane & crouched next to her & asked what was wrong (they’d buttered the tenderstem broccoli & she didn’t like it as wanted it natural) so he asked what she’d like instead & came back with roasted carrots! Cheese soufflé was the best thing any of us have ever tasted (was my husbands, we all had a try 😁) all meals were excellent quality & quantity that we each thoroughly enjoyed. Desserts were sparse so we missed those out & went elsewhere. Wish we had one local to us as would be our go to restaurant.

Really nice meal last night always a bit of a gamble when you take visitors somewhere you haven't eaten before .....apart from the wait for starters to main which was only a tad annoying everything was lovely and cooked perfect ....thankyou and will be back quite soon

Had a nice pre dinner drink at the bar then went to the table where we enjoyed some simple but delicious, well cooked food. Wine was great- Service was excellent. Hadn't been here for years- won't leave it so long next time.

Had a lovely meal here Saturday afternoon. Spoilt for choice on the menu and they were happy to tweak my meal as I didn’t want chips. Our waiter was terrific and really made the occasion seem special, nothing too much trouble and we felt soooo welcome. Thank you for a memorable meal
