💜 Only 4% of babies arrive on their due date!
💜 It can’t be 100% accurate, as nothing is ever truly set in stone! We rarely know the exact date conception took place, or the exact date you ovulated!
... 💜 It’s common for women to go a week or two over their “due date”!
💜 You’re classed as full term from 37 weeks!
💜 Your baby will arrive when he/she is ready!
💜 Be patient, trust your body, trust your baby!

Don’t wait if you are worried about your baby’s movements! You can see a midwife at any time, any day! We don’t work 9-5 and we don’t shut at weekends! If you have any concerns, speak to a midwife ASAP!

The reality of being a new parent ... exhausting, but worth it! Here’s some tips to help you cope with those early days!
💜 Don’t be afraid to ask for help, get visitors to help with general household chores! 💜Having said that, limit your visitors. You need time to adjust to your little one and those early days are extremely important for bonding! 💜Make some nutritious meals whilst you’re on maternity leave and freeze them! This will save you having to cook whilst caring fo...r your new baby! 💜Sleep when your baby sleeps! Forget the house work, you resting is vital! 💜Do it your way. People around you will have a lot of different opinions but you know what’s best for your baby! 💜Avoid beating yourself up, instead, know that you aren’t alone and you’re doing a great job!
