What happened today we arrived to a closed restaurant Sunday 10th we where so disappointed our favourite place to go good food and good value please open again soon

We went there yesterday as a last minute decision as it was our 37th wedding anniversary. The food was ample & delicious.I had smothered chicken while my hubby had chicken tikka. It was well presented, service was quick and the staff were friendly /polite.We thought it was good value and will definitely visit there again.

Scott Nicole and the rest of the team always make it a pleasure to come here fantastic service lots of smiles and very polite will always go out of there way to please the customer good food reasonable prices would recommend a visit if you haven’t already been.

Never had an issue here and have been going even when it used to be Charlie chalk!! One of my fav places. Food is always yummy and quick. Service is always lovely even with my crazy 2 year old. Last night we was a table of 12 and everything was brilliant xx

Great food very helpful staff especially a young lady called Kristy who took the time to go through a big folder with all the allergy details trying to find out what my daughter could have to eat even looking at the contents of the gravy this resulted in my daughter being able to eat from the bravery with the knowledge that she wouldn't be ill.Once again thank you Kirsty

Good service good food and the bar people had a good sence of humour which is good and very good with girls.

After spending a week at war and peace it was great to find a warm friendly pub wigh great food and quick service will definatly not bring thd camping stove next year. Feeling content

Lovely food, good staff and very understanding of people with special needs but I wish they would take their Christmas tree down, if they really need to have a tree up to get bookings they should have a small tree before December! On the whole though very good and the raspberry and prosecco cheesecake was thoroughly enjoyed! Thank you for a great evening!

Great venue if their are lots of you, staff very helpful and accommodating. Food was of a standard expected for the price, portion sizes very impressive. We especially (having thirsty peeps with us) liked the 'never ending soft drink' option, and it was great to have access to really cold water and ice when needed. Another nice touch was we went into the pleasant garden after lunch, and not for one minute felt rushed to leave. All in all a very positive first experience for me, a lovely place to spend time with family.

The food for the childrens menu was very poor one piece of dryed up piece of garlic bread and two pieces of skinny bits of cucumber very uninspiring just slumped on a boring white plate.Followed by a beefburger that was extremely dry sitting on a very dry boring bun no lettuce or tomato.Had to ask for ketchup why it couldn't have a couple of your 5 a day added to it ie lettuce,tomato would look more exciting and enjoyable for children to eat and healthier.It obviously had a couple of chips and I mean a couple.Then the pancakes with choc sauce with a couple of strawberries which were ropey too.The pancakes were very dry and desperately needed some ice cream with it.The kids menu really needs looking into,up the price a little if you need to,to make the food much more enjoyable and exciting for children.Would love a response from you after I have taken the time to write this thanks Michelle.It was for my son's Birthday too.So quite disappointing!!

Been using this Pub for years on & off & never had any problems! Always good food & drink at good prices! Called in Saturday afternoon & apparently you can't eat outdoors after 3 o'clock!! Not sure what that's all about?? However we had a decent pint & the wine was good!

Was not impressed at all with food. Main dinner was not great at all and pudding well I don't know how long it had been sat there for but my custard had a film on it and the pudding was stuck to the plate. Staff were collecting plates off the table before we had all finished. Would not return again! Very poor experience.

Very poor customer service apparently it’s inconvenient to turn up with family and friends and expect to be seated let alone served. Scott the assistant manager and Molly were appalling - and it was clear very early on they didn’t want our custom. They were rude, unreasonable and try to turn the whole situation on us. We were told they couldn’t accommodate a table of 14 which I totally understand but we would of been happy on separate tables - no willingness to help us find tables - we found a 6 & 4 seater and was happy to wait for another 4 seater close by but we were told to leave the restaurant as it was inconsiderate of us to expect them to serve us! The sign outside says feed the family!



Scott implied I had been rude to him and I would like to state not once was I rude to you even when we were leaving! And molly his 17 year old member of staff was rude directly to my face - we have used this restaurant before but be assured we won’t again - your restaurant lost over £250 from us yesterday but we found a lovely place in Tonbridge where the food and customer service was above and beyond.



I see I’m not the only one that had issues in your branch today - maybe a review in how customers are treated needs to be implied.

Turned up after not eating much and driving there expecting to have fish and chip night and NOTHING cancelled by the look of it wasted journey

I am sitting in this restaurant as I type. The staff's idea of customer service is disgusting. FYI- Do not bring bad mood to work with you.
