Popped in for breakfast. Great selection, cooked well. Was a very nice all you can eat. Wasn't too expensive and it got really busy so that shows that it was good. Would go again.

Love the breakfast here. Visited on Monday as we had an event to plan and wanted somewhere with good good as well as nice tables with space. We were greeted by friendly staff who didn't rush us. It wasn't very busy being a weekday morning but the food was amazing and we ended up staying until the lunch customers started arriving and still we weren't rushed from our table. Thank u we will be back!

Don't normally do reviews but stayed at Premier Inn this weekend and spent a lot of time in the pub.... really friendly staff who accommodated us as a big group and delivered some pretty fussy food orders without any problem

We have been to the Honourable pilot many times, and have always found the food good. Service can be a little slow sometimes.

User

Visited for a group meal and chose the Honorable Pilot as we had some 2 for 1 vouchers. Booked the table in advance and it was ready waiting for us. We did need to ask for the table to be wiped down but this was sorted straight away. We received table service (not sure if this is the norm now as we usually order at the bar) and the waiter was very friendly and attentive. Orders taken in a timely manner and food and drinks arrived quickly. The food was hot and tasty and everyone enjoyed what they'd ordered. The background music got a little loud at one point but they sorted it straight away. Hadn't visited this restaurant for a while but we had a very pleasant meal - would definitely consider visiting again.

I visited yesterday as a party of 4 to celebrate my granddaughter's birthday. They were very short staffed although we didn't have long to wait for our food. I had lasagne which the contents had changed to beef and pork. I couldn't find much meat with sauce and had mostly pasta and white sauce. Disappointed. All the other meals were well accepted.

User

Considering it was a bank holiday and busy and how reasonable the price as we had a voucher the roast was good meat was cooked well, good selection of veg well cooked, could've been hotter. We were also given soup to start. Good value. The rest of our party had various meals, sausage & mash, ham egg & chips, children's meals.

User

Am surprised to see the negative comments as we’ve never had a problem. Meals arrived freshly cooked and correct by smiling waiting staff. Keep up the good work.

We came in last night to eat..our meal was fine apart from the chips.. We did have a long wait for our drinks..had to ask where there were in the end ...we got very cold in the restaurant but have notice this before...

User

It was ok but the staff when i placed my order were moody also i went on mother's day and ordered from set menu and they wouldn't swap the set dessert for plain ice cream for my daughter which was crazy. The carvery was nice the vegetables needed cooking a little bit longer.

User

Went for a birthday meal with my 2 daughters an partner. Had 2 for one vouchers, glad i did as we all had a main an 2 of us had a 'pie' which wasnt a pie! Dissapointed with food to be fair. At approx £10 a head not good value an as for drinks £4.99 for a glass of tap wine a bit of a joke

User

Only giving 2* as our meal seemed to have gotten lost in the system!! We waited 45mins and then had to ask where our meals were!! Even though members of staff kept looking at us and probably wondering what we were doing there. I had to ask a waitress if there were a problem with our meals, she said she'd check and never returned. When it did turn up after almost an hour of waiting, I frankly expected more to make up for it. No such luck, although we did get a mumbled 'sorry' from some guy who may or may not have been a manager. Looking at other reviews, we aren't the only ones this has happened to.

User

Came for the Sunday carvery having booked a table and explaining one of us was in a wheelchair. On arriving we were shown to our table which was up the stairs! We were soon moved to another table and the meal itself was lovely although the service very slow. What I cannot recommend are their disabled facilities. The toilet itself is broken, the seat is badly marked and due to the cistern damage is almost impossible to flush! Improving the disabled experience would be a great improvement.

User

Well I don't need to write a review because I will not going back and I wouldn't recommend the place to anyone .

User

We did not love it far from it. We went to Brewers fair for my daughters birthday and she is Vegan. Her vegan meal was terrible, burnt, dry and she couldn’t eat it, so she had chips for her birthday meal.

The order was taken incorrectly because the person taking the order was to busy chatting to someone else.So my meal and my granddaughters meal had to be taken back. We eventually got our meal half an hour later. It was altogether a terrible birthday meal. If anyone goes there for a vegan meal hope you get a better one than my daughter did. Another complaint, if they are doing a so called vegan meal, why can’t they do a vegan pudding ??? Disgusted!!!!!

We arrived on Wednesday afternoon at 12.30 a busy lunchtime period as it would be in any establishment, we were a party of four, we were queuing for over 25 minutes to order our food the time on the receipt was 13.05, we then had to enquire where our food was at 13.45 an then 10 minutes later our food arrived, I understand it was busy but surely the establishment would know this and have extra staff we saw a total of 6, 3 behind the bar and 3 around the restaurant there may have been around 20 tables out of 40 so busy but not packed , when the food arrived instead of placing the food on the table they were handed to us, the condiments also took awhile will not be going back

User

Was in the medway visiting family i thought of taking them out and my dog .so went to the honourable pilot brewers fayre i ask if dog was aloud in the garden as there was a sign on the door saying no dog aloud in the pub which was fine the barman said in think it will be ok as there was no one in the garden so he open the gate. then the manager say we had to get out of the garden as well it there lost as it would have been 12 of us when my family got to the pub.but the old ash tree was great let us all in and great food to 10 out of 10 thank you my bonus club card was well use but i will not be back at this pub very poor management but friendly bar staff time of visit was 1500 hr

User

Starters were wrong, issues with meals and Waited about an hour between courses. Was given a refund for the meals that were wrong along with all drinks which was good, also asked 2 members of staff were our food was after an hour and they didn't bother getting back to us.... was offered free puddings.... which also came out wrong!!!!!!! Food was pretty poor too! Safe to say it was pretty disgraceful!

User

Bad attitude from the staff and management, the chef needs to go back to catering college, my recommendation is go to McDonald’s
