About Brickfields Country Park
Brickfields Country Park is a small, natural country park of just under eight acres situated off Boxalls Lane in Aldershot, Hampshire. It was reclaimed from the site of a defunct 19th century brickworks and clay pit, becoming an urban wildlife haven.

Illegal fly tipping in Brickfields Park - again
Fly tipping yet again behind the carpark. Dumped on Sunday after 4pm as it was not there when we left, but was there Monday morning. This is the fourth time in as many months and usually happens just after the volunteers have completed a clean up. Gives us the idea its a local who knows our routine. It also does not help that the recycling bins are overflowing yet again.

Two weeks later more dumped garden waste in exactly the same spot, a regular customer or a serial dumper ?.
Brickfields Country Park would like to wish everyone a happy new year and all the best for 2020.
This year our fun day will be on Sunday the 5th of July, so put it in your diary and pop along to possibly the UK's smallest country park to see farm animals, wildlife rescues, stalls and displays from local environmental and wildlife groups, hot and cold refreshments, games, quizzes, cuddly toy tombola, cake stall and our own brand "Brickfields Park" jams, a very popular item. Coffee and Tea from our refreshments are all "Fair Trade" products. The mobile farm display is still a very popular attraction drawing young and old to the interactive display of Ducks, Goats, Geese, Rabbits, Chickens, Pigs and many other farmyard animals.
Some vandalism, lazy people dumping stuff, a couple of shootings, bad driving and a late night barbecue. Same old, same old, in Brickfields Park, but don't despair head on over to the "Good Things" album.

Mr. Sparrowhawk has lunch of freshly stunned Pigeon. Not from Brickfields but we have both Sparrowhawks and Pigeons in the park, and we have found the remains of a Sparrowhawn lunch in the park.
