Reviews
Great location let down by mismanagement and lack of investment in vital services like dredging by Premier Marinas. If you want a nice place to stop over a weekend then this is it but beware of Spring tides unless you want to be stuck in the mud and avoid the managers as they are unfriendly, aggressive and even downright dodgy. Not somewhere to put your boat for the long term. It could be so much better as the service is terrible.
The Marina is a (nearly) all weather harbour and a most welcome place to sail into in the middle of the night in unpleasant weather! The facilities are excellent and the staff welcoming and helpful. It is a little expensive but you get what you pay for, a class act.
Deeper draft yachts have to take note of spring tides but the marina has just bought a £1million suction dredger to resolve the silting issues, Great Marina with Asda 3 minutes walk away.
Biggest marina in the UK and it is BIG. Staff really friendly. A safe haven when it's needed. ASDA is dead handy but all the restaurants are chains that you could find anywhere.
GREAT PLACE TO CHILL
Great place to chill out for the weekend
