Is Concorde really coming back to fly in our skies?
Happy New Year to all Concorde people and may you have a peaceful 2016
I was lucky enough to fly the French Concorde and have just found the menu and wine list which is to die for! I can remember thinking that this a 100 seater restaurant with fine dining that just happens to fly at 1,320 mile per hour. I can also remember going through the wine list and did not want to miss out on any of the fine wines they had to offer. Memories, happy memories..............
Still can't believe how fantastic Concorde was in her day. The most beautiful aircraft ever to grace our skies.
Have you heard of son of Concorde? If it's true and it works and it's financially viable, we could get to New York in 1 hour (that is if you are very wealthy). Such a fantastic concept flying at 4 rimes the speed of sound, safely and in comfort. The only downside is that there will not be enough time to enjoy a meal and glass of wine whilst flying in the upper atmosphere!
"Flight is the only truly new sensation than men have achieved in modern history". (James Dickey).
