Had this track prepped E46 M3 in for a remap yesterday. They are going abroad for a track day today. So it was all go go go, to make sure this car was perfect. 1st off the eml kept coming on and didnt feel as fast as it should. It has sports cats so it was messing around with the lambda sensors. No massive issue really. I spent ages logging and checking, really giving it some grief on the dyno, but couldnt find any issues. Gary Wood yet again tweaking this car to an amazing... 339 bhp, making a 30bhp from an n/a with no massive mods.
Picking up the back end of the torque, was a big thing i noticed, making it pull hard all the way to 8k. Where before it was lacking that punch and felt sluggish after 6.5k. They can now use the full rev range, Pulling hard in every gear.. Happy racing guys

Another mx5 having the broadstairs high performance treatment. 1.6 16valve mx5 engine with a t25 turbo, rx8 injectors. Running megasquirt management. Producing some really healthy figures. I capped the boost at 10psi, as this gets abused around the track. So want to keep it at a safe level. But still produce crazy power.

Had this beauty in today. Was cutting out at 24psi of boost. Found a old map sensor was broken. Quick swap with my one off the escort and she roared. Producing crazy power at 28psi of boost. Slight tweak with the fueling and she is good to go. Ready for abuse over the summer.

Health check on a Honda civic type R today. Made 28bhp above standard. It had an uprated full exhaust sytem, with no boxes. (Soooooo loud), plus a cone air filter.
Customer wanted a top speed run, to see what the car could do. If he was down hill with the wind behind him lol.... Kept pulling all the way to the limiter in every gear too. The dyno read 160mph as i hit the limiter in 6th 🙊. #maharollingroad #vtec #hondacivic #vtecclub #vtecyooooo

Mazda mx5 1.6 n/a in today for mapping. Really stretching it's legs, making sure the fueling and timing is all good across all the rev range. Making 75whp when it came in, and leaving with 112whp. Great gains..

Had this RS6 in for a remap. It had already been mapped but didn't feel responsive and smoked a lot. We used our hydro carbon cleaner, which released 30 brake and 45nm torque - just from the clean! With an added stage 1 map from #alivetuning , it produced an extra 30nm of torque and better driveability. Another busy day mapping this little beauty. Started life as a 1.6 115bhp na. Now with a turbo and megasquirt management. I managed to squeeze 180bhp at 7psi of boost. Had an intermittent missfire. Checked the plugs and found they were old lol. New iridium 7 spark plugs fitted. Then back on it again. ... Exhaust manifold is too small and really restricting the power.
