We went for NYE dinner yesterday, and have nothing bad to say about our experience; the food was lovely, the service was quick and our waitress was friendly and helpful. Will definitely go again :-)

Took my friend out for afternoon tea. It was fantastic. The waitress was brilliant. She keep the teapot full which was lovely. The afternoon tea food was brilliant, it was a wonderful way to spend my friend's birthday. Will be back.

Superb Christmas meal served with a smile despite a fully booked restaurant last night! Good atmosphere, just the right speed of service & well presented, tasty meals that every member of our party were delighted with. Thank you Browns MK!

My grandson Leo and I had lunch at MK Browns on Sunday. Service was exemplary even with a very fussy 13 year old. Food was lush and nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff. We had a lovely meal and drinks and I thought the bill was very reasonable thank you. See you again soon.

It was a surprise lunch for my 60th birthday, thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon with my family and friends. We had such a lovely waitress Viktoria, who was working on what should have been her day off. She was polite, cheerful and made us all feel so welcome. The food was delicious and we did not feel rushed to finish one course before starting on the next. Have eaten at Browns previously and would definitely recommend it. They also provide a good gluten free menu.

I totally recommend Brown's in Milton Keynes. I took mum there for afternoon tea. food and service was excellent! So much so I have booked lunch there for mum n dad so will be back soon.

We had a lovely meal, service was brilliant, staff were helpful and very polite.

They also surprised her with a special ice cream desert with happy birthday message and candle which was a lively surprise and so nice of them.

I would definitely recommend Browns and certainly visit here again when visiting Milton Keynes �

I had birthday brunch at Browns in MK yesterday. The Lobster Benedict was delicious, and my family all really enjoyed their food and said it felt like a special place to celebrate. To top it off our waiter was fab and really looked after us. Thank you - we'll definitely be back soon.

Helped Organise a baby shower here today and from the date of emailing to set the date right through to the actual tea party, the team there have been amazing. Professional, responsive and welcoming. And they allowed us all the time we needed to stay around afterwards and enjoy the moment. Many thanks, very much enjoyed it.

Went here yesterday for breakfast we ordered at 9 o'clock first in and I have got to say the service was brilliant the young man couldn't do enough for us. Our breakfast arrived piping hot and was delicious credit where credit is due. I'll definitely go back if I'm ever in Milton Keynes again.

Had afternoon tea for mothers day. Quite expensive for what you get. Food was nice. Not very good service. Loads of staff about but didn't come to check if we needed anything after food was brought and had to ask for more tea

We've been going to Browns for a couple of years now on and off, usually for an Afternoon Tea, but when we went yesterday it was a bit different. There is a difference with the food served for tea. Too many cakes and sweet things and not enough savoury. There used to be a better selection. It was still nice, but not great.

We went for afternoon tea and whilst my friends and I had a good catch up and enjoyed the festive cocktail included, we actually had to ask for our tea to be served and at no point were we offered a top-up, which is standard practice elsewhere. However it was very reasonably priced and there was a good atmosphere

We've had some lovely breakfasts here but our roast lunch ! The beef was so tough we couldn't cut it with a STEAK KNIFE the roast potatoes weren't at all brown and barely boiled .

We had never been here before but came in for drinks and weren't impressed.



My partner ordered a mocktail (£4) and the ENTIRE glass was completely filled with crushed ice before any liquid added so there was very little to actually drink.



I ordered an archers and lemonade but the lemonade tasted like soda water. I spoke to one of the bar staff who tried some of the lemonade and agreed there was an issue with it so offered me another drink instead. I therefore ordered a mocktail (of a different variety to my partner) which was meant to contain passion fruit, mango and lime, however before any of these juices were added the glass was 2/3 filled with either the dodgy lemonade or soda water even though that wasn't what was stated in the drinks menu.



Although the prices were what you would anticipate in such an establishment, the quality was not there as it seems they just wanted to fill the glasses with cheap ingredients that you haven't requested.



We were both very disappointed with our experience and although the staff were polite and friendly to us, we did see a man walk out after having waited to be served in the restaurant area for over 10 mins with staff walking past and ignoring him even though it was extremely quiet.



We both agreed that we wouldn't come here again.

Cold as people out emergency door to smoke a lot.... beer was flat and they wouldn’t sell any food in bar due to too many Xmas parties.... all in all I would walk past next time !!!

Poor customer service, the manager was insulting and defensive. Waitress and waiter no where to be seen. Missing food items, I had to ask on three separate occasions for missing items to be replaced. I had asked for all the crab sandwhiches to be replaced on my afternoon tea for three people and I was told by the manager If I didn't confuse the chef by changing my order he wouldn't have messed up my order. I'm sorry but nothing else was changed but my hole order was incorrect . The manager should have never been so rude and insulting to suggest the missing items was down to myself for being difficult. I asked for water which we never received and the pot of tea was awful. I was offered no appolgy or a good will gesture. The service ruined our afternoon tea experience. The only positive I can give was the food tasted great. I will not be returning after the way the manager spoke to me.

Food too expensive considering it wasn't special or distinctive in anyway at all. Poor customer service. Rude unfriendly waitress with a bad attitude (short girl with Indian features and a cold expression that smacked of intransigence and recalcitrance). Tried to dictate how much of a tip I should give, so she got nothing. Really awful. Don't waste your time and money.
