Alfie is always the first one with his nose in the red bags that are brought to outreach and he knows exactly which pockets the treats are kept in 😉
Although you can’t really tell from this picture, he’s been having trouble getting the Christmas weight off, so he’s going on a special prescription weight loss diet.
... Being overweight is detrimental to joints and internal organs. The team will help him reach his ideal body weight safely whilst working closely with his homeless owner, providing veterinary advice, support and food that has been kindly donated to them by the manufacturer.

We thought we would share a little bit of Monday cuteness with you all....This is Mika, a Bernese Mountain Dog, who came in today for her vaccinations.😍😍 She is uber cute and we are looking forward to watching her grow (our guess is that we won't be able to pick her up for a cuddle for much longer!)

Has anyone brought their pooch into work with them today?

It’s been a busy few months for StreetVet’s Plymouth team, so they have just started Saturday morning clinics to keep up with the demand in the city.
Not only do they have a steady list of regular patients, but they have also had the pleasure of meeting this handsome chap, Hugo!
By partnering with a local hostel or soup kitchen such as Shekinah, StreetVet teams have access to a safe indoor space to examine street pets like Hugo and dogs that can be more anxious out on the str...eet.
It also allows our vets and nurses to carry out more indepth examinations and sometimes more complex treatments.
As you can see, volunteer Kathryn couldn’t get enough of the cuddles from this gorgeous boy!
