Fantastic evenning was had at the Monthly Senior Randori session which was hosted by Bushido Judokwai 473.
A total of 24 players on the mat tonight which consisted of Juniors players, National junior squad players, former National Kata champions, current and former International masters players, former National squad coaches and former and current and Senior International players.

Mike asked me to give an update from this weekend.
It was a great result at the British Masters 2018 in Thetford, for the Bushido Judokwai affiliated judoka. Scores on the doors,
Ben Lannie - in his first Masters event, 5 tough fights in the M1 U81kg, coming away with 2 wins and narrowly missing out on a medal.... Tim Rolls - also in his first Masters event fought 2 tough fights in the M4 U81kg, giving a good account of himself. Steve Creaser - 3 fights in a hard pool in the M4 U90kg coming away with 1 win and 10 points. Steve also entered the Open Weight 1st Dan event, winning 2 out of 4 fights securing him Silver, and another 20 points.рҹҘҲ Nigel Creaser (Me) - 2 fights in the other pool in the M4 U90kg 1 win, getting me to the semi-final, losing out to the eventual gold medalist, enough to secure BronzeрҹҘү. I also entered the Open Weight 1st Dan event, winning 1 out of 4 getting another Bronze рҹҘү and 10 points. Stephen Evans - another first time Masters competitor had 2 tough fights where he showed his potential up against a 3rd Dan in the M5 U100kg. John Thacker - 3 fights for John and 2 wins one with a huge throw making the whole room turn around securing him Silver рҹҘҲin the M6 U81kg. Sue-Alan Jones - 3 fights and 3 wins gave him Gold рҹҘҮ in the M9 U73kg. Danny Bidgood - 3 fights and 1 win gave Danny the Bronze рҹҘү medal in the M9 U73kg.
All in all a great day. Well done to everyone.

ItвҖҷs great to see a huge number of new members of all ages trying judo for the first time and all of who have put in huge amounts of effort... рҹ‘Ҡ
... It is also fantastic to see some players and familiar faces return to Judo after a number of years away from the mat! рҹӨқ
We have a number of players who regularly travel from other clubs to come to train with us to.рҹҳғ
ItвҖҷs great to see all players of all ages pushing themselves to the next level whether it may be to get fitter, aiming to achieve their next grade or aiming to compete and win medals at tournaments... рҹҘӢрҹҘӢрҹҘӢ

Some amazing performances and such a Great effort from all members of TEAM GB this week who competed at the 2018 World Judo Championships which have been held in Baku, Azerbaijan!

My son looks forward to Judo ever week. Mike and the team are fantastic with the children and they are always learning. Would recommend to any patent with children over 5.

Mike is such a lovely teacher we really enjoyed our time with him - highly recommend :)

Great little club, very welcoming to beginners or Dan grades alike. If your scared of a bit of graft it may not be the dojo for you. But roger and the lads have helped me no end.

Great club friendly and well run. Would highly recommend.
