We wanted to invite all our lovely clients to a Christmas open evening on the Tuesday 11th of December at 8pm. There will be drinks and mince pies! As well as tours around the practice! We hope to see you there!!! P.S Unfortunately this is a 'human-only' event so please leave your furry friends at home!

Some of the best feelings we, as veterinary nurses experience, are when patients that have developed a low appetite or disinterest in food eat with us after lots of tempting and attention. The nurses spent a lot of time with Hobbes tempting him to eat and this is the result! ūüėĀūüćī
If your pets (Especially those with renal disease) have gone off their foods give us a call as we are more than happy to share tips to encourage them to eat!!

Gorgeous George spent the day with us for her regular check up on her Thyroxine levels. She was very good for her blood test and a pleasure to have in. ūüźĪ

ūüź∂ PUPPY PARTY SPAM ūüź∂ We had a fantastic morning this Sunday at our first puppy party and the pups did too! They played so well together and it was lovely watching them enjoy themselves, while being at the vets!! ūüėĀ Thank you for coming, we hope you enjoyed it and the doggies liked their party bags.

Pluto is such a happy doggo - it's so lovely when our patients are pleased to see us! ūüėä If you are walking by with your dog, pop in to see us (and of course they'll get a treat and lots of fuss by the nurses!)

Sushi is a super star! ūüĆü He was unfortunately in a very bad accident last week where his pelvis luxated and he fractured the head of both his femurs! He underwent surgery to fix this and has recovered incredibly well! He's stayed with us for the past week to monitor his excersize and make sure he is taking his tablets and all staff members have fallen in love with him! Such a special boy ūüėć

Meet Olaf, the sweetest little kitten! He stayed with us yesterday for his castration and microchip and was so so playful - before AND after his procedure. Here he's having cuddles with our nurse Jessica ūüíĖ

A very exciting urine sediment from one of our feline patients! ūüźĪ The photo on the left is showing a colony of Rod bacteria, the top right is showing 3 Neutrophils - the white bloods cells trying to fight the urine infection. The bottom right photo is a beautiful epithelial cell! (A tissue that lines the inside of an organ, this time the bladder) #microscopymakesushappy ūüĒ¨ūüėĀ

Saturday the 22nd of September was World Rhino Day! As you may know we actively support the Wilderness Foundation which prevents poaching and supports injured Rhinos in South Africa! The work they do is incredible and would not be possible without the generous donations made by so many of our lovely clients! My cat broke his leg but after seeing these Vets he was able to Legget again.
